We had an amazing experience for our company's party. After coordinating all the catering, space and guests, it was a relief to have our music covered, on time and set a great mood. Thanks to Christine the evening was a success.Mar 3, 2019
Christine and her Vintage Affair performed for my parents' 60th anniversary party. I really appreciated her professionalism as a leader, and her skill at creating a mood and ambiance, with the songs she included, that often were the songs my parents loved most from so long ago. They and their guests were delighted!Dec 1, 2018Christine Hannan and her Vintage Affair's reply
So glad to hear! It was a wonderful event, and we had a great time playing for everyone.
Our experience with Christine was fantastic! She played everything we asked her to play. Did a great job mixing type and style to fit the atmosphere, she was a big hit with all! We hope to have her back in the future.Dec 1, 2018Christine Hannan and her Vintage Affair's reply
That's great to hear! It was a pleasure playing at the party. We hope to work with you again as well. Thanks for the review! -Christine
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I price based on union musician rates, and believe in paying my musicians fairly while giving my clients a clear idea of how I get my pricing information. I use some of the best players in Chicago. Whether you book the Intimate Duo package or the Little Big Band, you know you're getting a fair price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have an initial phone consultation and talk about the logistics of your event - length, number of guests, venue size etc. After we decide to move forward with booking, I have a standard contract I require to be signed before we book to protect both parties. Then after that, we can discuss more details leading up to the event - dress for the musicians, song requests etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Master of Music in Jazz Voice Performance from the prestigious University of North Texas! I have been doing party band work for 4 years for various bands, and really know the ins and outs of this type of performing and work.
