Wedding and Event Catering
I would recommend Caila for your catering needs. She sent a proposal within the projected budget for our wedding. She was very detailed in asking all the right questions to prepare our proposal.Feb 10, 2020Verified

Is was such an honor to be a part of a night you and Alyssa will remember forever! I truly hope we get to work together again in the future!
Nothing but a great experience... the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it.... I wish I could have her cook for me every night. I loved how she worked with my big group and had a food option for everyone. And was open to change the menu...Jan 17, 2020VerifiedPig & the Peanut's reply

Thank you for your kind words, your family was wonderful and so fun to work with. I throughly enjoyed the entire experience. Hopefully we’ve started a tradition!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My prices are based on your budget. I believe that everyone deserves access to delicious food and the magic that happens around the meal. While prices are listed on this website, my pricing scale is based on YOU so please message me with any pricing questions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I ask a lot of questions! My favorite questions to ask are: "What is your favorite food memory?" and "What do you want your guests to leave feeling/saying about their experience?". I love to build the experience from the ground up and the best way to do that is to really know my client and their guests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Well, that is a complicated question! I grew up cooking with my family, so I've had a constant cooking presence in my life. While I was in college (for business) I would sell cakes and treats on the side. I eventually opened a bakery in Arizona, but decided to move to Chicago to pursue a career in Biochemisty.... I know, I'm surprised too! While in school I worked in kitchens and cupcake shops alongside my lab research jobs. After I graduated, I ended up back in kitchens and realized that cooking is really what I value and enjoy. Biochemistry was just a means to understand my passion on a deeper level. So I started taking clients and 8 years later, here we are! I wouldn't change a thing.
