My husband hired Rose to cater a private dinner at our home in celebration for my 40th birthday. It was a 5 course meal for 20 people, and the food was fantastic! We started with 4 different appetizers during the cocktail hour, followed by a salad course, entree (guests were able to choose from 5 options, which I really liked), cheese course (my favorite) and dessert. We had never hosted anything like this at home before and it took us some time to figure out what we wanted . Rose was very responsive throughout the planning process and and helpful when it came to giving us suggestions and guidance. On the day of the event her team helped us to set up our tables. Once the party started they required no direction from us and kept the meal running very smoothly, allowing my husband and I to enjoy ourselves to the fullest. Rose catered the Chinese Historical Society Museum VIP re-opening party for us and did an absolutely fabulous job! I really appreciated how her communication during the entire process was very clear and prompt. Rose brought a great energy to the event, had wonderful staff working with her, and last but not least, the food was AMAZING!! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My price range depends on what type of service you would like and the type of meal. For instance; 5 course, plated dinner served and cleaned, or a buffet service or an appetizer party with passed appetizers and stationary platters.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?As soon as I get an inquiry, I write back with a quote and what services are included. If you like my quote and profile I will send a sample menu taylored to your taste.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My family owned and operated restaurants when I was young and I have been a professional chef for 25 years. I learned my trade in Philadelphia working beside some the best chefs in the city.
