Jim Saranteas is a very thorough attorney with great customer service. I used his services in the closing of my building, and he made himself available to work around my busy schedule, consulting with me in the evenings and on weekends. He made sure that I understood all the details of the process, and when there were bumps in the road, he did everything he could do to resolve them and make sure my husband and I were protected. His low fee was a great deal, especially for the hours he spent in the process.Jan 28, 2020
I spoke to three attorneys who would not take my insurance case before I spoke to Jim. I was extremely pleased with Jim's work, his level of service to advocate for me, and the results. I have no hesitations recommending him. Joya M.Jan 23, 2020
Buying a property was the biggest investment of my life. Without a Real Estate Attorney, Jim especially, I would have been lost. From the moment we signed the contract Jim stepped into the deal and made sure all our bases were covered. His company does flat-fee closings at a competitive price, but regardless of that, Jim needs to be the attorney for your closing. Thank you Jim for all your help- my fiancee and I can't wait to buy another property and use you again.Feb 20, 2020

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Except for real estate closings, total fees and whether an engagement can be done for a fixed flat fee can vary based on the complexity of the engagement and when new facts surface.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to listen to new clients and ask questions so I can fully understand the facts of their situation. I ask that if there are relevant documents, I be provided them to review. In some instances, like when doing a will and estate plan, I have a questionairre that I require be completed. After I feel I have learned everything there is to be learned, I will render my honest legal opinion as to the situation and recommendation for action or inaction. Then, it's the client's decision on what to do. If a client wants to proceed, we'll then discuss and execute a legal services agreement.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law at night while working full-time after working for several years after college. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Knox College.
