FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am usually $55/hr, plus whatever the studio charges me for space rental (usually around $15/hr).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training (because a good dancer never stops learning) for over 20 years, primarily in partnered dances. I have studied salsa and bachata under and been coached by a wide range of influential instructors and coaches, such as Eddie Torres, Jose Serrano, Billy Fajardo, Angel Martinez, Fausto Felix, Adam Taub, Jorge Buenos, and Carlos Cinta. I am licensed and certified in ballroom by DVIDA in International and American styles, and trained for 6 years with some of the best ballroom coaches in the States.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work approximately 50% of the time with single dancers 1-on-1, whether coaching an experienced dancer in a routine to get ready for competition or teaching a beginner the basics. The other half of the time I work with couples, again ranging from helping wedding couples put together a first dance all the way to coaching competitive partnerships.
