Sorry, this review is long overdue. Donna worked my mom's surprise 70th birthday party back in September. We had close to 80 guests. She did an amazing job! We corresponded before the party about drink menu ideas & she was very helpful with suggestions & recipes. The day of the party she did a wonderful job with showing up early, helping set up & went above and beyond serving the guests. She was not only the bartender, but waitress & clean up crew, too. She was well worth every penny! I was finally able to enjoy a party I was throwing for once. We will definitely be utilizing her services again! Thanks again Donna!

Everyone was absolutely a delight to work with. Holly was our day of coordinator and was so helpful and hands on in making our special day the best day ever. I never had to worry about my vision coming to life, there were a few changes she made and I'm so grateful she did because they turned out so much better than they werebefore. Our event staff Julio and Brenda were just as professional and hands on and we cannot express enough about how great our event went with the help of them and Holly. Rick was very knowledgeable about the wedding coordinating process. He was helpful in attending the walkthrough with the other vendors and venue coordinator. However, he was not able to attend the rehearsal dinner or wedding because of a previously booked event. His associate, Valerie, and her assistant, Maria were at the wedding instead. Overall, everything went pretty smoothly. Everything was cleaned up and ready to go by the end of the night so I didn't have to worry about it. There were times throughout the night where I couldn't find any of the coordinators when I needed to find something, but I'm sure it was because they were behind the scenes making sure everything was going as planned. Valerie was supposed to attend the rehearsal, but Maria came instead (a little late). Because of this, there was some miscommunication as to where people were supposed to walk, but essentially it was not a big deal (the crowd doesn't notice things like that). They were a pleasure to work with and I felt like most things were taken care of in a professional manner. They even helped my parents load up the car at the end of the night! Honestly, I think I would have preferred for Rick to be there for the wedding coordination because of his experience, but it worked out okay with his associate and assistant.

Hiring Diane and Savannah of Majestic Virtual Event Planners & Production for Wedding Day of Coordination was a very good choice! The cost was very reasonable, considering the knowledge and years of experience of these planners. They carried out everything I wanted for my wedding. We cannot say enough great things about Heidi and highly recommend her wedding services to any other couples! Heidi served as our wedding coordinator in September 2017 and she was worth her weight in gold so that we could have a relaxing and elegant wedding. Thanks to Heidi we were able to truly enjoy our time with all of our guests many of whom had traveled from Europe and across the US to be with us. On the day of the wedding Heidi did an incredible and efficient job running our early morning rehearsal which immediately put everyone participating in the ceremony at ease. She and her two assistants were then present at our venue throughout the day coordinating the vendors as they arrived, setting up decor, and bringing us our bouquets for photos. She even sent me a few photos of the cake and decor as sneak peeks as we were out and about all day with our wedding party. Once we arrived at the venue everything looked absolutely perfect and she even had water set up for the wedding party as we got ready to walk down the aisle (she also had water, snacks, pain killers and whatever else anyone needed!). During the evening wedding Heidi kept everything to schedule and moved the guests seamlessly throughout the venue from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. She worked closely with the photographer, caterer, and musicians to make sure everything went to plan. If anything went wrong during the day or evening we did not know about it! At the end of the wedding she and her two assistants packed up all our boxes of decor/cake/leftover alcohol and took it to our hotel so our family and friends were able to go back to their hotels or to the after party with no worries. In addition to the actual wedding day, Heidi was wonderful from day one. After we decided to work together we met with Heidi early in the summer and showed her around our venue. A couple of weeks before the wedding she also came to our final walkthrough with our caterer. We also had multiple check-in calls the week leading up to the wedding to go through final details. During the week before the wedding she was in touch with all of our vendors to introduce herself and to work out any details which took all vendor management out of our hands. In short, we had a very detailed schedule and notes of how we wanted our wedding to run and look and Heidi executed it with precision and even helped us think of details we might not have thought of ourselves. We had 60 guests and wanted a personal, professional, and elegant Chicago wedding. So many guests commented on how smoothly everything went during the day and how much they enjoyed the pace and look of the evening. We were a very happy bride and groom!

Allana planned our intimate destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, and it couldn't have been more perfect for me. Allana located and made all arrangements with the vendors to provide the services required: officiant, flowers, food, photographer, hiring a boat. I don't speak Spanish, and she does, so I couldn't have done it without her. She found some really great vendors, whereas I wouldn't have known where to start, even had we been stateside. She managed everything day of, too, and everything went super smoothly, it was perfect! I enjoyed working with Allana, it's clear that she loves event planning!

Daniela is a great HMUA to work with - I have worked with her twice and been very happy both times!! The first time was last year (2016) in May. I came to Chicago from Boston and decided to do a photoshoot to update my portfolio and headshots. The shoot was on-site at a temple and then the beach (which she actually suggested). She did my hair and makeup beforehand and then came to the shoot with me. She was so great, making me feel beautiful and encouraging me between shots. She would touch up what needed to be touched and offer suggestions of poses and expressions. The photos came out great and were my favorites from the year. Most recently, I needed HMU for a very last minute photoshoot while in town and she did a great job again. This time, we shot at a studio downtown and again she did me up before arriving. We started with my hair up in a chic messy updo and then switched to a smooth, almost retro look before a final tousled style. The makeup was flawless and really complemented my features. She was so meticulous and made sure I was happy with each look. I really couldn't be happier with it all. If you need someone for an event who will notice every detail and keep you looking AND feeling gorgeous, Daniela is your girl!

Wow! There are not enough good things to say about Ashley and her team. Once I spoke with Ashley, I knew she was the right one for the job. She may be "newer" to this industry, but she delivered more than we could have ever asked. Our wedding was about 170 people and she helped organize everything on the day of from A to Z, there every step of the way. Every time I'd try to do something, she'd remind me to enjoy my big day and let her take care of it. If there were "concerns", I didn't know about them because she took care of it all. On the day of, she coordinated with all of the vendors perfectly, and at the end of the day, our wedding was perfect, and she is a big reason for that. If you have any doubts about her and her teams abilities, feel free to have her give you my contact info for a reference. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her work, professionalism, and her drive to make anyone's event the best day of their life. Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

The national average cost for wedding planning is between $990 and $1,300. Costs are greatly affected by region, with rural or smaller-town wedding planners often far more affordable than planners in higher-cost cities. Here are some examples of the various levels of wedding planning and their potential average costs:

  • Day-of-wedding coordination: $800-$1,700. Day-of services can include the planner finalizing all details, creating a timeline, confirming vendors and overseeing all setup, day-of activities, and cleanup. The couple does all the front-end planning and contracts all the vendors. Time commitment could be about 15-25 hours, depending on pricing.
  • Partial service: $1,500-$3,800. Here the planner works with the couple from the beginning, helping contract vendors, creating a timeline, and overseeing all details of day-of execution. Time commitment could be about 30-60 hours, depending on package and pricing.
  • Full service: $3,500-$8,000 or more. A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours.
