FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Obedience is pretty straight forward because I know roughly how long it takes for a dog to learn a command reliably and that is placed at a fixed price. Behavior, however, is different because I do not know for sure how long it'll take to address it, but I have an idea. During the consultation I assess the dog's behavior, the severity and the family and give a price for an estimated amount of time to fix it. If I guess 8 classes, but it looks like it'll take longer, than they do not pay more, it is included in the price because I charge for result not time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Potential clients may set up a consultation by submitting a Consultation Request form or by contacting my assistant, Maria. Forms are always required to be filled out so that we have a record of your information.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I started my career in dog training my focus has always been Behavior because that's what most dogs are returned for. So regardless of what you're looking to cover from basic puppy to advanced obedience, behavior will factor in at some point.
