Introduction: As a former newspaper reporter, I pride myself in the ability to write concisely and edit to give my readers the cleanest copy possible. My work goes beyond the borders of journalism as I continue to freelance as a promotional writer for prominent universities on the east coast. Before starting as a graduate student at DePaul University I doubled as a reporter and worked as a copywriter for a technology recruiting website. Listening to my clients' needs and direction is important to me, and I strive to make my copy reflect their purpose.
