FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My typical client is a person buying her/his first home, an older home that needs repairs. In many cases it's a "distressed" (foreclosure/short sale) property, or an estate sale/"as-is" transaction, in which the client doens't expect to have the seller make repairs. However the client still needs to know the home's condition. We do plenty of "market" sales as well.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask how much experience the inspector has. See if the inspector specializes in the type of property you have, or in the case of a large condo building, see if (s)he has worked in the building before. Ask which professional organization (such as the American Society of Home Inspectors, the most prestigious) the inspector belongs to.
