Introduction: My name is Isabella Alcântara de Oliveira and I'm an architect and interior designer based out of the Greater Chicagoland area. This is what you can expect when working with me: 1. Free phone consultation This will be a time for us to talk on the phone and chat about your project. I always make sure that you've seen my portfolio at this point because it's really important that our taste is aligned. If you feel like this might be a good partnership, we can move forward with the contract. 2. On-site consultation (cost: 2 hours) This is a time for us to get to know each other and discuss your project at length. We will discuss your design goals and the possible changes we will make to your space. I will give you some ideas as we tour the space. Any remaining time from the two hours will go towards the project itself. 3. Payment After we have discussed the project I will give you an estimate on the hours it will take to complete. It will cost 50% of hours estimated to start and the other half at the end of the project. If developments arise that make the project take longer than expected, I will notify you and you can decide if you want to continue at the current pace or slow down the progress. This will allow you to monitor your budget. Tasks will include, creating a 3D model (or a rendering) for your space, sourcing furnishings, sourcing inspiration and images, phone and in-person meetings with you, shopping and the like. I accept Cash, Check & Zelle. I will provide an invoice for you for each payment. 4. Moving forward Should you choose to move forward, once I receive the first payment for 50% I will get to work. I will recreate your space using 2D & 3D modeling and will convey my plans and ideas using that format. We will work together on Pinterest (for imagery) . Isabella was amazing to work with! She set expectations up front and was on time to appointments. I understood upfront what I was getting with the contract, and we had detailed next steps/dates. I received the amazing layout ideas after her and her husband came and measured our entire house - and they were exactly what I was envisioning from my Pinterest board. Any changes I wanted to make she updated and gave multiple options for some rooms. Next up was a detailed excel w links to all options for furniture, which was awesome. I got to order all I wanted and she came with me to West Elm to order and gain her designer discount, which she passes along a portion to you. She was very responsive and is amazing at what she does! Super nice and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

When I contacted Isabella, I was completely overwhelmed by my bathroom remodel. She immediately jumped in to help and made me feel so much more comfortable with the project. Isabella offered guidance on everything from measurements, to design, to tile and fixture selection and was very patient with me when I changed my mind a few times! She also created 3D images so I could see what my space would look like before I dove into shopping. As you can see from my pictures, my tiny bathrooms were sad dungeons…and now they are (although still tiny) very cute and not sad or dungeony at all! :) I highly recommend Isabella—she has a great eye, and she’s super fun to work with which is always a plus.
