Plaster top coat over first coat of taping and joint compound and painting interior of garage. Sub and contractor showed up quite late, did not prime drywall first as promised, instead used a combination primer and paint and then when it didn't cover well made excuses. Sloppy plastering and painting requiring much clean-up by me. Stopped job after day two, settled up for work completed, and finished myself achieving complete coverage.Jul 26, 2016VerifiedPerfect Painters & Construction's reply
the drywall was molded/rotten but the customer insisted that we prime & paint the molded drywall.after we double coated all areas we came to a conclusion that all molded drywall must be removed before continuing but customer did not want to remove rotted drywall.we did all we could do under the these conditions.this was a situation when its best to do the job the correct way by not painting over rotted drywall like I insisted.if you notice we have never had a customer who did not walk away happy.this was the first because he wanted to cut corners and do it his way and not the professionals way.we will always give you our professional opinion being we have over 25 yrs.of experience.Type your response to this review.

Mr. Robinson is a very honorable and respected professional to start with! I posted my project and almost immediately he reached out and setup a time to assess what needs to be done as we were about to list our home. He spend two days and did everything if not more we asked for including painting, touch ups, installing new doors , frames, closet etc. he has been very patient and courteous. To me, he is a multitalented person who can actually finish the job professionally on time. Don't waste your time looking for really highly demanding so called pros who are only there for you to pay them and not care about each individual need of their clients. It has been a great pleasure having him as our contractor. If you are on a budget, he is very reasonable! He wouldn't come and jack up the prices like many contractors I had paid before. In fact his prices are so reasonable that you do not need to get others to get an idea. I wish there were more honest and reliable professional contractors like him out there who makes your life lot easier and stress free! I wish I had more projects for him and found him lot earlier! Thank you so much Mr. Robinson and stay blessed!!!Feb 12, 2016Verified
I hired him for painting my apt in Chicago. He promised to finish in 3 days and he stuck to the schedule. Pros: I had planned to paint different walls in different shades of the same color scheme. Robinson understood exactly what I was talking about. The price he quoted was very reasonable. He was very honest, patient, reasonably priced. He and his helper stayed longer than he had planned for, and finished off the detail to my expectation without being defensive or upset. Cons: There were a few spots not done right the first time, not perfect. Needs a bit of supervision towards the end. But the good thing is he fixes the problem when pointed out, without any complaint. A good guy making an honest living.Sep 18, 2014Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When working with new customers I typically show them that they are appreciated by giving them 10% off there entire bill.
