Removing a combination of furniture junk in some yard junk really went smoothly largely due to the moving team and their can do and professional business-like attitude. If I could rate scheduling, website interaction, timeliness and the process of having the junk removed separately, I would give those parts 5 stars each.I used the service on 11-3 and 11-7.The service claims to "charge you only for the part of the truck you use".However, I saw no methods used to determine a fair definition of the space used, and billed for,The capacity of the truck in cubic feet/yards is not disclosed.None of the crews that came out to the locations used any type of measuring device to determine a "best guess" for the volume of debris. Short of concrete, stone or asphalt shingles, most pickups should use more volume than weight.The crew leader "eyeballs" the pile of debris and points the customer to a fractional range of space used. The estimate is given across three values.In my case, both calls had relatively organized piles that could have been measured for a "best guess". I felt that I was billed fairly for the 11/3 service call.I feel that I was significantly overcharged for the 11/7 call, which was no more than 20% of the volume of the 11/3 call, yet I was billed for approximately 60% of the cost of the larger pickup. Weight of the debris was comparable.Either pickup was significantly higher than hiring my own small dumpster.I may use the service again, but I will only accept an estimate based upon some actual measurements to estimate volume, so I can be billed "for the part of the truck I actually use" in line with their marketing jargon.Nov 15, 2019Review from Google1-800-GOT-JUNK? The guys were professional and very polite. They efficiently took care of my stuff and was able to get it all done within a very reasonable amount of time. I have used Got Junk several times and will continue. The only issue I had was I only had $22 dollars in wallet to tip. We needed to empty out our mothers apartment in an assisted living facility after her death. My brother had previously used 1800JUNK when our mother had moved from her condo to the facility several years earlier and suggested we call them again. I needed to change the date and time several times, but had no problem. The two men who came were timely, professional, friendly, and finished the job in exactly the length of time they had predicted.
