Introduction: As a two-person team of certified makeup artists, professionally trained in both domestic (Chicago based) and international (Israel-Tel Aviv) programs, we truly believe every woman is beautiful by nature, and that the best in method and makeup can tremendously enhance it!
We practice beauty, theatrical, media and clinical application which means you can come to us for more than just events but also for fun girls' night out, private application lessons, makeup for photo shoots and even wild looks for Halloween!

I Hired Beauty in Colors for a one-on-one makeup lesson and I couldnt have been happier with the service I got! I never had much of a talent for makeup, I am more of a hair person, and I really felt like it was time for me to learn some new tips and tricks and get a more current fresh look.
I didnt walk into the class with very high expectations, because I figured how much can I possibly learn in 3 hours considering I hardly ever do my makeup?? Well, I was wrong!!
Lee started by going over some basics of how to prepare the skin and match my foundation, and then taught me a step-by-step day makeup application and night makeup application. I had more than enough time to practice each look at least twice and I didnt have to remember anything as Lee gave me printed sheets with all the information. Then I wanted to know how to do a classic smokey eye (who doesnt want to know how to do a smokey eye??) and It turns out it was SO much easier than I thought!
At the last portion Lee showed me some different tricks on how to do eyeliner (I still need some practice with that one but I am doing much better) and how to put on fake lashes which I always wanted to know. All in all it was a lot of fun and I learned so much, I have been getting compliments from friends who have known me for a very long time and it feels great.
Lee was not only very informative but also very patient and kind, it was such a great experience and I will call her again whenever I need any makeup services.

These Ladies are remarkable!
The Lees ( there are two of them! ) are both extremely talented Make up artists and Excellent service providers.
I hired their services for my Wedding after encountering some less friendly ( understatement ) and far less qualified "Artists".
Lee and Lee ( i can't get enough of it, their names are even "user friendly" ) were super friendly, energetic, and most important with me - PATIENT!
they scheduled a "Trial Session" to work with e until i get just the right look i had envisioned, for me and my 4 bridesmaids, to make sure that on my wedding day, there are no surprises ( at least not with makeup! )
I was the most beautiful bride ever ( if i may say so myself! ) and my Besties all loved them too :)
I would highly recommend ( and have been, every time someone sees the wedding pictures and says i look WONDERFUL ) anyone that is in need of a makeup artist for whatever occasion to give these girls a call... you will not be disappointed!

I hired Beauty in Colors to do the makeup for my wedding in February 2013. I set it all up with Lee (her partner is also Lee) via email. She always responded within 24 hours, was very professional, and worked with me to get a package that worked for my budget. I did a makeup trial with Lee and was very happy with the results. She was very flexible and very easy to get along with. On the wedding day they arrived exactly on time. Their kit has everything they could possibly need. They take great care to sanitize the products between each use, or they use a small amount of product off a mirror with a new clean brush for each client. They managed to do beautiful, individualized makeup on an array of skin types, complexions and ages. There was no rush with their work, and they stayed until right before the pictures started to do any touch-ups that were needed. My makeup (including lipstick) stayed in place the entire night. I am so glad that I chose to work with Beauty in Colors and will recommend them highly to all of my friends with upcoming weddings.

Lee did such a great job doing my makeup for my wedding in 2012. I was really worried at first because I had booked a different makeup artist that canceled two weeks before the wedding day and had no time for a trial session with 'Beauty in Colors', but when I called and explained the situation to Lee she calmed me down and worked with me to come up with a plan B.
Lee asked me to send her a photo of myself and a few photos of makeup looks that I like and we discussed them over the phone until she had a good idea of what I was going for.
On the day of the wedding Lee showed up 20 minutes earlier just to make sure we had time to talk,
she did my makeup just as I asked, not too little and not too much, and it turned out amazing!
I could not have been happier with the service I got, Lee was so on top of the situation and just saved the day. Most of all she was professional and reliable which I learned the hard way, is the most important thing. I will 100% recommend 'Beauty in Colors' to anyone I know who is getting married!

The gals at Beauty in Colors are simply fantastic! I needed a make-up artist for a photo shoot I was doing. I shopped around a little bit and found Lee. Right away, she was great to work with. Very welcoming and personable. She listened to the style I was going for and took it to an extraordinary level. She knew exactly what colors and hues would be best for my skin tone. She really highlighted my best features in a very artistic way! The photos turned out great thanks to my awesome make-up.
Since then I have gone back to Lee for make-up for a few other photo shoots I had. It just keeps getting better!! Superior Artistic Talent!! You will have a great time getting your make-up done and you will love the results. She is truly a great person and extremely talented!
I would definitely recommend Beauty in Colors to anyone! You will be so excited with your results!
