Christy was amazing!! I have had chronic pain in my hip due to a sport injury and she really tailored the massage to my needs. It was perfect ....and I have had a lot of massage. It is apparent she understands what you need instantly. After the massage she also offered stretches and ideas to continue to heal. I already scheduled my next session with her.

There's no better person to turn to for Bodywork and Massage Therapy and Shiatsu Massage than Christy. She is incredibly professional and thoughtful and passionate about not only her work but your experience following every session. Christy works hard to make sure your time with her is personally focused to address your needs for your body. Her knowledge of the field is extension and she cares about her clients and what their needs are. I was lucky enough to attend Shiatsu massage sessions with her and she took great lengths to provide a welcome environment, detailed discussions about my body habits and pains, created a safe space with calming music and soft surfaces and was extremely thoughtful in checking in with me throughout the session - was this too much pressure? too little? is that position comfortable? would you like a towel to rest your head on? All helped me feel safe and relaxed. After the sessions, we took time to discuss sensations I was feeling and what felt tight or what surprised me and Christy was able to explain the Shiatsu principles that connected to what I was feeling in my body. So not only was I feeling relief in my body, but I also grew in knowledge and connectedness as well. It was a wonderful experience with Christy and I'd attend more bodywork or sessions with her in a heartbeat!

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  I ask all new clients screening questions to make sure they are a good fit for my practice. New clients will receive an intake form to fill out before their first appointment. This form asks for a health history and reason for seeking massage therapy. I am happy to speak on the phone with you if you have questions. Please message me to schedule an introductory phone call.
