Revital was a joy to work with, and I plan on having her over regularly now. I had injured my neck and needed someone urgently due to the pain. She was able to accommodate me, and my neck felt so much better afterward and only continued to improve. Her style of working is soothing while also addressing the aches and pains. I’ve had many different massage therapists and she is one of my favorites! Happy to have found her.Aug 19, 2019Verified
Having a massage at home is something everyone should try. Revital gave my husband and myself a wonderful 60 minute massage. The price was very reasonable and well worth the money.Jul 24, 2020Verified
Rev was very nice and gave me a great prenatal massage. I felt safe, despite the strange times we are in with the pandemic. She was lovely and I look forward to hiring her again!Jun 3, 2020VerifiedRevital Peremen, LAc.'s reply

True did a great job! It was my first in home massage. Extremely patient explained the process and I’m feeling good. ThanksJun 25, 2020Verified
My elderly mom really enjoyed her massage with Revital. She has a lot of arthritis and the massage helped.Oct 18, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have different pricing for traveling to you vs. you coming to see me at the clinic. I value my time, and charge accordingly. When you hire me you are getting years of experience and my full attention to your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to get to know my clients and patients. If we are setting up an acupuncture treatment I will be asking many questions to find out what is the underlying issue which brought on the problem/s at hand. For massage I do a similar, but shorter intake. It all depends of what you are trying to get out of the treatment. Dealing with pain is different than dealing with stress, and I treat accordingly. Healing is a process, and I assist along the journey.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an advanced degree in Traditional Chinese medicine an a BS in nutrition. I have years of hands-on experience with both acupuncture and bodywork. My favorite style of massage is Thai massage, which I studied both here in Chicago and in Thailand. "Thai massage" or "Thai yoga massage" is an ancient healing system combining acupressure and assisted yoga postures. Traditional Thai massage uses no oils or lotions. The recipient remains clothed during a treatment. There is constant body contact between the giver and receiver, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. My clients describe the end results as feeling like a "cooked noodle"
