Very professional and amiable. Lisa is a great coordinator who is willing to give the customer what they want and what they need while at a reasonable price. The tastings are incredible. The poultry is not dry but juicy. The sausages have the bite they require. Her selections of wine compliment the dishes offered. Marcelino the chef seems very passionate about what he does and does not disappoint when it comes to his cooking.
One of the dishes I chose was Lemon Goat Cheese Empanadas - an Argentinian dish with an organic and fresh taste.
I very much enjoyed the service. The bartender kept the event lively and knew his drinks back and forth.
Overall, Lisa's catering service is amazing. It's difficult to find companies that execute properly but the company manages to do so.

I used LZ Catering and Special Events for my 30th Birthday celebration. I had approximately 20-25 guests, on a private rooftop in Chicago. Lisa, the owner of LZ Catering worked tirelessly to create a beautiful event. She secured tables, linens, glassware, cutlery, as well as the smaller details that made the place look amazing.
We met for a consultation a week before the event to go over menu, and wine selection. We settled on 2-3 hors d'oeuvre, with a buffet of approximately 3-4 dishes, as well as bar logistics and a cocktail list. The food was amazing, my friends still comment on how great it was. The venue had a grill, which the LZ Catering Team used to prepare the most tender stake ever!
For the event, LZ Catering provided a chief, two servers and a bartender. Lisa and her team where polite, professional and polished, they made the night special, and provided my guests and I with a great service.
One area of improvement, which I'm sure will be easy to fix is the setup and tier down process. The initial plan allowed for an hour to setup, and an hour to tier down, but due to rain and the layout of the building it took longer. It was the only hiccup in the evening.
Lisa and LZ Catering provide exceptional quality and service. They work non-stop to create an event you and your friends will remember!
