Jonathan is a great motivator. He truly listens to your goals and builds a plan that works for you and your skillset, but isn’t afraid to push you beyond what you think you’re capable of. He knows what you’re capable of and pushes you to become stronger. I came to him thinking I couldn’t do arm reps with anything more than 8lbs. He told me to grab the 10s — shortly after I was using 12s on the regular, and I could see the tone in my arms. I was so intimidated by the Olympic sized weights and bars but Jonathan coached me through it and I was so proud once I finished my first set of squats and deadlifts. With his years of experience working with athletes and wealth of knowledge, I truly trust him and value his work ethic and customized programs.

Jonathan is one of the most knowledgeable personal trainers I have ever worked with. His education background in sports medicine gives him an advantage as a trainer and allows him to not only help you with any fitness goals, but to also identify any movement patterns that need to be corrected. Being a former football player in high school, I had several aches/pains/injuries that were difficult to work through in the gym. Jonathan has helped me achieve my fitness goals as well as teach me modified exercises to keep pain at a minimum. Lastly, his genuineness is one of his biggest strengths, and he truly cares about every client’s success. I highly recommend Just Train Athletics!

Jonathan is extremely talented in his craft. He understands that everyone is at different levels and stages of their fitness journey. He makes adjustments to make sure you’re comfortable but you’re also challenging yourself to become better and stronger.
