Introduction: I make the experience very personal. I have a lot of communication with the client before, during, and after the session to make them very comfortable and to make sure the quality I am providing is at the highest possible level. I try to make my time with them as if they were visity with a friend. I also offer unique products such as Gallery Blocks and Lego Mosaics to my photography clients. To my knowledge, no other pet photographers in my area offer these.

Sebastian was a true professional and artist. He spent time with each pet before shooting to gain a trust with the dog. I have the finest photos of my pets I will cherish for years to come. The finish on the holiday cards was called "metal" and was breathtaking. Everyone remarked on the finish and photography.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am involved with the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) which is a tight nit community of photographers from around the country who come together to support each other and help each other grow. The PPA provides workshops and seminars to educate members and keep abreast of the current trends in the industry. I also have a personal group of photographer friends who I have attended workshops with and discuss recent shoots and techniques with.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got into pet photography because I grew up my entire life having pets and had a special bond with our dogs. I really appreciate how people consider their pets as part of their family and I wanted to provide a service to highlight that as well as create memories for them for years to come.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My most common photo shoot is definitely for pets. However, I have also done family photos, business portraits, baby photos, and recently did some food photography for a bakery that is opening nearby. I believe challenging myself as a photographer is important in keeping me creative behind the lens.
