FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on the project. I will lay out specifically what you will receive for either the flat rate or hourly quote I provide when we chat.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ask a lot of questions and get to know new clients. Every situation is different, so it's important for me to understand your business needs, objectives, and audience. Then, we'll align on the outcome of the project and what success looks like. If it's a writing project, we'll talk about the number of rounds of editing that will be included in the price ahead of time and the timeline for delivery of each round. If it's a public speaking lesson, I'll send the lesson plan ahead of time so that you know what to expect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years of experience in corporate communications and 3.5 years of experience teaching public speaking and communications. I have a bachelor's degree in speech communications and a master's degree in PR and advertising. I also ran my own small business for eight years (a dog biscuit company that had distribution throughout the southeast), so I know what it's like to be an entrepreneur.
