FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I communicate with each of my clients via a non-billed 10 minute consultation. Once you hire me, you have direct and quick access to me, at reasonable times throughout the day and night. You're hiring me for real matters that impact daily life, and I just think it's an expectation that I'm there for you every step of the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
J.D. 2009 Indiana University Maurer School of Law Licensed to practice law in Illinois
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Definitely shop around to make sure the attorney is a great fit (you can be represented by him/her for months or even years as to future matters). The attorney-client relationship is sacred; you want to make sure that the person you are hiring meets your experience expectations, but also your expectation as to his/her character. But make sure that they are fully disclosing exactly what the representation will entail, in addition to up-front costs (usually Court fees or anything you would have to pay even if you did not hire an attorney) and attorney fees (they are different) going forward.
