Roof Repair or Maintenance
Fred and his team did an excellent job on my roof. They were very professional and cleaned up everything before they left. Special thanks to Frank for doing such a great job and for knowledgeably answering all of our questions. I highly recommend American Bonded Xteriors for all your roofing projects.

Roof Installation or Replacement
I am honestly so disappointed to be writing this. I don't think I have ever written a bad review in my life and I hate to hurt someones business by doing so. But in this case it seems important to share so that anyone else who might hire him in the future has all of the information and doesn't land in the same situation that we have. Fred had his guys do our roof 4 1/2 months ago. He was initially a nice guy and a decent communicator in a time when we were extremely rushed to have the work done, so my husband and I were very grateful. While doing the work, they ended up roofing an area that we told them we would be demo-ing and didn't need new roofing, but we really just felt bad for him for wasting material and figured it was an honest mistake. We paid the balance as soon as they finished and that was that. But about a week after the work was done, my husband noticed the vents that were included in our quote, didn't seem to have been installed. I texted Fred and he said he would take a look. Once confirming that they did forget to install them, he said he would be by that weekend to get it done. That weekend, I didn’t hear from him, so I followed up and he said he was sick and would be there Monday or Tuesday. Six days passed and I didn’t hear from him, so I reached out again. He said he would be there the next day. The next day came and went, he said he was still sick. I wanted to be understanding if he really had been sick for so long, so I just kept saying ok and that I was sorry he wasn’t feeling well. Another 5 days passed - nothing. I reached out and he said his truck was in the shop but he would be here one way or the other. This is only a few weeks into our attempts to get him out here, but by this you can get the idea of what the last 4+ months have been like. “I’ll be there this week”, then we hear nothing and he doesn’t show up. Then we check in with him, he either doesn’t reply or days later he’ll tell us again that he will be there on a specific day that he inevitably never shows up for. One time he was supposed to be here on a Sunday and - expecting him to pull a no-show - we confirmed the day before that he still intended to come. But he of course still never arrived. When we texted and called to ask why he hadn’t shown up, he replied the next day saying he had gone to a Halloween party and decided to sleep in the suburbs the night before. Obviously this is very unprofessional, but the part that frustrates us so much is the fact that he has SO rarely ever reached out to let us know that he intends to bail on another appointment. At this point, after the last time he bailed, he has fully stopped replying to texts or calls. We have gotten quotes from other roofers for installing vents and it will be nearly $2,000. He won’t transfer us any money back, so now we have to go through small claims to see what we can get. Again, I am so disappointed to be writing this, I hate the idea of hurting someone’s livelihood and held off for so long. But if you are going to hire Fred to redo your roof, my main advice would be to absolutely not pay the second half of your deposit until you have triple checked that the work has been completed - because there is no guarantee you’ll be seeing him again without some sort of monetary motivation.

Roof Repair or Maintenance
I had the pleasure of working Bonded Xteriors to replace my roof. Fred came out very quickly for an estimate, gave a great price, and issued me a estimate for the work with details. His guys were very clean. When they finished everything was cleaned up as if they were never here. I will definitely do business with them again. Extra bonus points for actually accepting credit cards which most contractors don’t. It’s much better to finance a large expense than empty out your savings.

Roof Repair or Maintenance
The work was amazing. The photo is off on the color because of when the pictures were taken in the day. The work was done so well you would never even know that it was repaired. I would hire him for all my repair needs.

Roof Repair or Maintenance
Fred and his crew did a great job repairing our roof and a veranda off our bedroom at a great price. Another roofing company said we needed to tear off our roof and install a new one even though it was only 10 years old. Fred was honest and said some patches and a new coating was all that was needed. We will definitely be using his company for any future roofing work we need done.
