I came to see Laura to work on public speaking skills but soon realized I had fears and anxieties - even physical symptoms - speaking up just in professional meetings and being in social situations. I realized I had lost my self-confidence and comfort being with people in reality due to too much time in virtual contact - on my phone or computer, etc. Now, I look forward to speaking in public again, going to meetings to challenge and feel the return of my confidence -- but also the good feeling it is to be in real contact with people and not just through text messages and emails. Through our sessions, I realized it was just a temporary loss due to bad habits I let develop.
Beth worked with my son to help him prepare for an audition. She gave him invaluable advice for both the monologue and his song. Beth is one of the best teachers/coaches I have ever seen! She is able to give concrete suggestions on how to improve a performance while at the same time encouraging the student and making the student feel confident and inspired.
MVP Jennings is a dynamic public figure who's heart is genuinely interested in molding our youth as future leader's! MVP is not just talking the talk but he truly is walking the walk because that's what real leaders do!
Loren Michaels Harris auditioned and won a spot in our cast to read "LOST OR FOUND" in the 2016 Listen to Your Mother: Southwest Michigan show which I produce and co-direct locally. He. Was. Fabulous! Wonderful to work with. Very open to suggested edits and coaching. He is so clear on his message that he speaks off-the-cuff as smoothly and confidently as he reads a prepared piece. He was cool under pressure and absolutely delivered. A consummate professional. I would work with him anytime!
Curtis does amazing job captivating both large crowds more intimate audiences. He uses his own personal stories to relay messages and teach valuable life lessons. During the workshop, Curtis integrated numerous opportunities for students to apply what they had learned and reflect upon their experiences. I would highly recommend Curtis Hill for any speaking engagement or event.
I found Dave for my sister, to help her find her voice as a writer. I was looking for someone that would approach writing coaching not as a job, but as a calling- and I nailed it with Dave. I can't speak highly enough of the passion he brings to helping her succeed as a writer, and his skills and creativity he brings to crafting the pathway for her to get there. Dave worked with my sister during her 8-week, college-level summer english course. They met for a few hours each week on Google Hangout (no need to be in the same place anymore). He helped her break down assignments and make game plans to tackle them. He helped her read like a writer- a skill he feels is foundational. Most importantly, though, he diagnosed her "stuck points"- the things that really challenged her- and cultivated her skills in those areas. On top of his expertise as a teacher, Dave's EQ for the human side of writing is off the charts. Writing is personal, and to let someone into your space as a writer is an exercise in vulnerability. Dave adeptly navigated that space- knowing when to talk and when to listen, when to rally and when to give tough love. Working with Dave has truly been transformative for my sister.
John Conrad has worked with my son for the past three years. He has coached him and works with him when he has big auditions. My son is always better prepared for his auditions when John has coached him. More times than not, Othel will book an audition after a coaching session. I have referred many kid actors to John for coaching and all of them have done well. John is skilled in modeling, acting, singing and theater. I would highly recommend John Conrad as a Talent Coach to any actor.
Marge is an exceptional coach; she is respectful of artists, insightful in her vision, and clear in her direction. Love her!
When I decided I needed a coach to assist with some decisions I needed to make, I began my search online. The sheer number and different types of coaches was totally overwhelming. But, little did I know that the perfect coach for me was right under my nose! Several months before, I had been introduced to Cassandra through a mutual friend because I was interested in the coaching profession for myself. We had several brief conversations about her training and about the business of coaching. Even in those early discussions, I found Cassandra to be warm, articulate, professional, considerate, and quick-witted with quite a sense of humor. Suddenly, I thought Cassandra would make a great coach for me! And I was right! She is not only a great listener but one of her most fabulous attributes is that she is able to synthesize my ramblings and feed them back to me in a marvelously cohesive statement that sums up what I said and much of what I felt but hadnt said! So, over the past 13 years, I have maintained Cassandra as my go to coach, and I have never been disappointed in the outcome of our collaboration. I have never felt judged, or wrong, or stupid in any situation that I have shared with her. Cassandra is the most non-judgmental person I have ever met. She is phenomenal in the way she supports me in whatever I am trying to achieve and its ALWAYS about ME! If she has an opinion about something, she sets that aside and places the focus on what I want for my life. Her questions are so skillful that they encourage me to think in new and different ways and it inspires me to pull from deep within myself to come up with new ideas and approaches to my situation. In other words, Cassandras coaching is not about proving that she has the answers, but rather she is all about empowering her clients to gain clarity, recognize their own truth, and affirm their gifts. Yes, it is evident that Cassandra is highly trained and certified; but her value as a coach goes over and above what can be taught in a classroom. She is a person of integrity with a genuine desire and commitment to helping her clients achieve the highest level of personal satisfaction and professional success in their lives. I recommend Cassandra without reservation!
Bonnie provided communication coaching to a diverse group of medical professionals (physicians, nurses, administrators) in Chicago, Il over a six month period of time. Her coaching was tailored, compassionate and understanding. She created a safe place for the professional to receive feedback, guidance and support. Bonnie provided each individual with written suggestions on how to improve his/her interviewing style when working alone or with a team. The 100+ medical professionals involved left the training with only positives to say about the experience. Bonnie is highly recommended.

Joe put me at ease from the beginning. I found him to be very professional, personable and intuitive. He was an excellent listener and very skilled at being able to sum up my circumstantial barriers and point out things I was unaware of. Joe was very skilled at helping me to navigate my life course toward a successful new path. I am very grateful to Joe and highly recommend him to anyone who needs life coach assistance.
Working with Jim has proven to be a real asset. He does his homework, asks lots of questions, and delivers more than he promises. If you want a consultant, speaker, or coach he is terrific.
I have been stuck in the same job for the last 5 years as a mid-level manager. I'm wasn't sure if there was hope for me to move to the next level in leadership. Letta was really responsive and quick to help me outline a strategy that should work well. We'll be meeting a couple times a month for coaching sessions where we'll work on mock interviews and leadership scenarios to help me gain more skills that will impress my bosses. This really seems like it's going to help me out of my rut!
Elizabeth is an intelligent, approachable, talented, but most importantly, very funny person. She has coached myself and another executive in public speaking which tremendously increased my confidence speaking to groups and on camera. She meets you where you are in terms of needs. As a comedian/improv/actress/singer/dancer/writer she has exposure to most arts so I also just found our discussions thoughtful and enjoyable. I highly recommend Elizabeth if you need personal speech coaching, an entertainer for a party, or an MC for your next event. Outside of playing instruments, I'm not really sure what she can't do.
Allie has unique strategies to coach writers on productivity and time management that get to the heart of the problem without passing blame or judgment. I value her insights and have increased my writing productivity as a result. As a columnist, she delivers extremely clean, engaging copy with sharp, clearly focused articles.
Brendan worked with me over an 18 month period to help me organize my presentation, focus on my audience and then worked with me to deliver the presentation to that audience. Brendan also helped me identify speaking opportunities that helped me improve my delivery. My presentation and speaking skills dramatically improved by working with Brendan and I highly recommend him.
