About this pro

How does your business stand out?

There is a huge variance in the massage field. It can be hard to know what you're going to get when you go to a massage therapist for the first time. I use the term deep tissue to describe some of what I do - this does not mean that it will hurt (though some areas may be very tender!) but that I will work down through superficial layers of muscle to the deeper muscles. If you've squirmed in pain through a "deep tissue massage" before, know that it doesn't have to be that way - there will be times that are intense but it can also be relaxing. My initial training as well as all of the continuing education I have taken have allowed me to create a massage that flows, that is relaxing but that also decreases pain. My hands are adept at targeting the area that is causing your pain and my knowledge of anatomy backs that up.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Having a client come out of my massage room saying 'you got it! I feel so much better!'

Gina is a highly skilled and professional massage therapist. I have been working with her for three years and no two massages are ever the same. She always asks me which particular parts of my body need special emphasis, and then she tailors that day's massage to relieve the pain or stress in those areas. She regularly updates her knowledge through professional development. I have Parkinson's Disease, and she has gone out of her way to learn massage techniques that are helpful in relieving my symptoms. I highly recommend her.

I wanted to get some relief with my right shoulder. I had a rotator cuff scope/surgey back in 2008 with my throwing arm. I played organized sports my whole life. Gina was appointed to work with me and it has been a blessing. I cannot beleive how much power she has for her size. She is extemely knowlegable as well. She is also very professional. When I get a headache, we will skip the arm work and she will help me with getting relief with the headache.Frankly, she is the BEST massage therapist that I ever had work on me. Vincent

Gina is gentle but firm. She works on my left should which is where my stress always goes. She is always on time. I am impressed by her ability to make me feel better. I never leave feeling pain. She will always ask in what area you are experiencing pain and works in that area more of the time. I have been with her for the past 3 years. I highly recommend her.

I started getting massages by Gina at my chiropractor's office a year or so ago. I am also a member at Massage Envy. I have to say Gina has been the best therapist. She really pays attention to what's happening in your body. I don't even know I had tightness in places she finds. I always leave with more range of motion in my neck, less stress and less aches. She is really superb.

I've worked with Gina many times. She works with every muscle group, while focusing on areas needing it most. She has excellent intuition for exactly the right amount of intensity. Adding to the therapeutic benefit, her style and rhythm make a session with her very pleasant.

Gina is an amazing therapist. I've seen her for several years and she's treated me for sports (running) related injuries, and for scoliosis and stress related issues. She's incredibly knowledgeable, dedicated to her field, and to your health.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are a range of options. 30 minute massage - $40 60 minute massage - $85 90 minute massage - $127 120 minute massage - $170 *each session is the full length listed, i.e. 30 minutes is 30 minutes, not 25. Your first session may be longer as we might talk a little more about what's going on before we start but you are not charged for that time and the massage will still be the full length of the option you chose.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love continuing ed! Most recently I took a great class that gave me new techniques to use to release the rotator cuff muscles in the shoulder. I've already implemented those techniques with a couple clients who have rotator cuff issues and have had great success in decreasing their pain and increasing range of motion. Next up is a class on working with the adductor muscles of the leg (I'm looking at you, you Bar Method fanatics!) The past few years have brought an explosion of studies on massage and the techniques that are most effective and I love keeping up with all of it.
