    Top notch and I don't give these ratings to just anyone. The mere fact that they did the job in such a quick detailed manner was impressive. My son needed me to have filed my taxes for school and i had a problem with my w-2 because my job mailed it to an old address. Taxnet Finance not only helped me get my w-2 but filed and then helped me with the fasfa. To me that is going above my expectations. He also filed my sons taxes for free which I didn't know he had to file. I want to say that this is the most professional and qualified tax service I have ever used and I will be back in January to file my taxes again.

    They Helped clean up my taxes for the last 3 years. The last time i filed my taxes my H&R Block accountant really messed me up so this was my way of getting things back to normal and it worked good.     It has been over 3 weeks since my return was amended. Well according to taxnet financial. However the IRS has no record of it. I'm beyond frustrated. $345 to do my taxes. Then when we catch an error BEFORE it was filed we couldn't get anyone to listen. Was hung up on and ignored several times. Now faced with having to amend a return that should have been corrected before it was even filed. Now this company is again ignoring me. My next step is the better business bureau and the IRS directly. Complete lack of professionalism and utter disregard to customer satisfaction. They reply on this site with generic pre written responses because they are aware how royally they screw people over and have no legitimate excuse for it.

    If approved your loan proceeds are deposited to your checking, savings, or prepaid account within 12 hours in accordance with your RAL agreement. If you are denied a written notification indicating the reason for the adverse decision is sent to your email address and/or home address.

    We understand there is a slight waiting period between the time you e-sign your agreement and the funds appear in your account. During this period we urge consumers to remain patient until the funds post to the account. Our customer service department will not be able to provide an actual time your funds will be made available or if a consumer was approved or denied.

    We would prefer that the funds post immediately; however, there is an "in transit" waiting period required for YOUR financial institution to post funds to your individual account. This "in transit" time varies on your financial institution but keep in mind that financial institutions DO NOT post ACH transfers during Federal Holidays or Weekends.

    There is no faster or safer way for consumers to receive tax loan proceeds than an ACH transfer. We urge applicants to be patient during the "in transit" period.

    Your information is safeguarded and secure. We NEVER share your personal information with any third parties unless we have your written consent or if required by law.

    You can say I applie for a refund anticipation loan at jackson hewitt and I was denied so I called H&R Block and found out they were not offering unless I had good credit so I tried Taxnet Financial and I was approved for a tax loan for $1,000. Once you use this service you will not trust Jackson Hewitt again because they didn't be honest with me from the start. I live in Memphis and the Jackson Hewitt office here is horrible I recommend anyone trying to get a tax return loan to switch immediately.

    Taxes done right and never had any issues for the 4 years. Two years in a row higher than I had expected I would receive back even after doing them with a free program checker that was not accurate and had a penalty for my health insurance on both my dependents. Plus we have a side business with real estate and it was so much easier with the tax company explaining our rental property tax. Good Job and see you again next year.

    Hello all!

    I wanted to give another update on my file where the company misreported information and only submitted one W2, well I did file a complaint against the company as well as the taxpayer official complaint with the IRS. I received a response that I would receive a credit from the supervisor HOWEVER i have in writing that I would only get a credit if I lied to BBB and told them that I was satisfied with their resolution which of course is not going to happen. I felt like I was offered a small bribe to lie and say I was happy with the company so their review wouldn't look bad and this is just yet another slap in the face.

    However, on a positive note I did reach out to Taxpayer Advocate Services ON MY OWN and was able to speak with someone that assisted with their error and will get a paper check mailed off to my on 03/24/15. For anyone that has had any issues with this company and missing money that is due to them due to their incompetence I highly recommend contacting the advocate in your area and explaining to them the situation (and hardship if applicable) that this company has placed you in. I am very happy to finally be done with this company and will NOT be returning ever and I hope that my story helps other consumers that are going through a hardship and feel this is their only means of money to rethink their decisions. Jackson Hewitt offers a service similar to this although the amount is smaller (although you don't get the $1,000.00 that the company states here either after their $345.00 is deducted) but anything that you can speak with someone face to face is better than dealing with foreigners over the phone that hang up or lie in writing and over the phone.
    I wish everyone a better tax season next year and DO NOT come to this company if can be avoided.

    Signed up for RAL and got a decent tax refund. Received loan direct in a few hours. They impressed me with the quick response as this was for an emergency. They could help with having log in easier I was never assigned a temporary password to view my account over the weekend. Had to wait til Monday to get my status. Overall good service.

    Just giving another update as I am the reviewer below so as of 03/11/15 still dealing with this company without any resolution. I was told to check back in 21 days from the date that my amended return was received however was THEN told to wait on the IRS.
    This has been an ongoing issue since January with me not getting my money on time.
    I was told by a supervisor Mr. Knight that due to this issue they will be refunding me interest on the $345 that was paid for preparer fees however until that happens I don't trust anything this company says when as you can see even having it in writing doesn't mean anything.

    I will never do business again and hope that these reviews I have left will discourage others from even thinking about dealing with this company. This has place such a damper in my life and added personal and financial stress upon my family.

    So I just read the response and there is still a lack of ownership. I have IN WRITING YOUR COMPANY clearly stating "We don't have any updates on your amended return. Please contact us in three weeks if you have not received your amended return refund. " IN BLACK & WHITE WRITING this is what I was told and I did exactly that by following up three weeks later. I asked last week :

    " That did not answer my question at all. I'm asking what steps are going to be taken in case it's not. It should be simple enough for a company that has been in business since "12 years".

Your error has cause an tremendous amount of worry and financial stress so I'm just wanting to make sure that we are both on the same page. IF for some reason I do not have it in three weeks I want to know what steps will your company be taking to resolve your error?


    I have NOT spoke with a manager since the error was first discovered back in Janurary and have been HUNG UP on and told I would get a call back that has NEVER came. Don't give me that BS response when the error is clearly YOURS. You don't understand the financial bind I am in and have made NO EFFORT to reach out to a PAYING CUSTOMER. I am going to continue posting and reviewing to let other consumers know that your place is NOT a place of valid business.

    If you knew the IRS couldn't rush it why not say that in the first place so once again you LIED and it's in writing and now for everyone on this site to read the fact your company says false information and makes NO effort to resolve it. I said last week I didn't want to go through this back and forth again because I had a suspicion that I was going to. I don't know what it's in YOUR control because my two paycheck stubs that were in YOUR control got messed over, so explain to me how did that happen? I still haven't even received an answer for WHOM messed up and what YOU'RE going to do. Any reputable company would've had a manager reach out weeks ago so I wouldn't have to keep emailing and posting reviews just to get some sort of an answer. I am going to continue emailing and calling until I talk to a manager and this is resolved.

    Once again going through the run around with this company. I am the same reviewer that was shorted more than 6K due to them only filing one tax return. Don't you dare say I didn't read my paperwork because I have copies of ALL the emails we have and it clearly states I was supposed to receive a refund of $7,130.00 however received 6K because your company filed using ONE tax return. I have been going back and forth and was told this:

    I even offered to pay them an additional fee so they could LOAN me MY money that they f*cked up.

    This company is a bait and switch scam . Check with the Bbb for reviews ! I filed for a ral holiday loan ; never heard from them . Yet they filed incorrect tax return payable to their account . If they have filed your taxes ; contact the Irs immediately ! Mail in an affidavit along with a correct tax return from a legit tax preparer asap and freeze your social security number with the three credit departments. Lastly file a complaint with the BBB !

    We are in a highly regulated industry. We NEVER make tax returns payable to our account. Providing false and misleading information to consumers because you are upset with our company is in bad faith.

    We have been in business for over 10 years and our company is an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau.

    If a consumer selects a RAL there is no credit check because your actual refund secures the loan. If a consumer has a debt obligation (e.g. delinquent child support) or provides misleading or inaccurate information the application may be rejected or denied.

    If a consumer is approved the loan proceeds are disbursed within 12 hours.

    Sorry Kevin but your post is not accurate. If you were denied for a RAL you have the right to receive the exact reason for denial. We encourage you investigate the reason for your denial instead of posting inaccuracies. We will not post the reason for your denial to protect your privacy.

    I too will be filing a complaint with the IRS due to this company mishandling my tax return. They have screwed up my taxes and have me paying money back to the IRS!! I will do my own taxes from now on. If you got both my paystubs for the RAL, how do you file my taxes with only one?! This company preys on people in need. Just because I'm in need doesn't mean I won't put up a fight!!!

    I wanted to give yet ANOTHER update. I did file a complaint against this company with the IRS. It turns out they only reported ONE income after when I signed up for the RAL they clearly had both of my paycheck stubs. I spoke with a rep from the IRS yesterday and they informed me of the error and apparently they tried to submit another e-file however the incorrect one was already accepted and processed. I am sick with worry because I am taking the kids to Disney World on March 26th and was going to use this money to spend on them for leisure.. now.. I'm basically screwed. After I informed the company of my complaint with the IRS they were quicker to respond and didn't want to play the "blame game". The blame is clearly on the company yet they don't want to take responsibility. I hope to give another update once this matter has been resolved but playing the waiting game. They did state they were going to try and speed up the process since typical turn around time with the amended tax return is 8-12 weeks, which wouldn't be bad if I wasn't shorted $6,000.00 and actually have plans for a trip that I may end up canceling. I'm taking all recourse that I can with this matter.

    As you can see below that they have their workers posting fake reviews to smother our honest and real reviews from an actual consumer, I will see that this company's closed down I've already contacted the BBB and will be contacting the Irs on Monday and submitting my fraud forms as well, I can't believe they left out my income and reported only one causing my tax return to be 1300 I'm just hurt why will they do this I'm going to make sure I'm compensated for doing their job and for punitive damages!

    I absolutely love this company. Got approved for RAL in minutes and money was deposited next day. Taxes..? They filed for me automatically, and 9 days after irs started accepting taxes, I received my refund d.d. in my account. I WILL be using them next yr. Thank you taxnetfinancial!!!

    After reading the reviewer below it made me look at my transcript to see why my refund was $6K short and low and behold my AGI was completely incorrect, so that bull I was told about the IRS dropping my EIC was bull, they completely screwed up my taxes. I received a copy of my 1040 which is correct but can't seem to figure out how they messed up. I'm irate because now i have to wait an additional 6-8 weeks on THEIR error and of course they're unapologetic. I urge any first time consumers to look at their transcript and have someone else fact check behind them if you were goaded into using this company. I am going to see what my options are because this place needs to be shut down.

    I had the worst...life altering experience with this company! First of all I applied for the ral and it was denied because I owe the state 90 bucks, so no sweat I figured I'll eat the 345 admin fee and suck it up, so I had 3 jobs last year and the last one is my current job so I'm expecting 5000plus for my refund and I'm following the WMR tool by phone, online, Santa Barbra bank, even tax net'a fake tool and no status of my return other than it was accepted! So I'm getting worried as time progressed and I finally was able to login for my transcripts and Lord behold they reported one income messing up my taxes I call the irs wmr hotline to see if it reflects the measly 1300 return that shows on my transcript and it states a DDD! I started to cry in ball in tears because as of now me and my family are living on an shelter waiting on this money this was a setback!! Please Consumers I know we are at our last rope sometimes but please do not waste your time because now I have to amend my taxes I have yet to obtain my copy of my tax return from these guys and they flat out lied I have kids and I'm a cancer survivor and they screwed me over but that's ok I'm contacting the irs fraud dept on Monday and I'm suing as well for pain suffering because my family depended on this to get our home!! Shame on you

    I'm giving another update. I received *A* deposit for more than $6,000 less than what is listed on my tax return. After speaking with customer service I was told that the IRS didn't accept my EIC, which has NEVER happened before in the 10+ years I've either did my taxes myself or even went through another agency. I spoke with a supervisor and of course they blamed the IRS however this is something that should not have happened and don't think it would have if I hadn't used this company. I was told they have to mail an amended form (which they did send priority so I gave them an extra star for putting more of an effort into it). However, as tax professionals, I've never heard of things just dropping and of course I was hung up on yet again by a customer service rep after I stated I wanted a supervisor ASAP and I would hold the line until one was available. This has happened to me at least 5 times since December where the rep decides they have had enough of the conversation and hang up. It's not only disrespectful to paying customers; it tells you the nature of their business. For those that have been dealing with this company for more than a year, kudos? lol. However, most of us seem to be first time consumers and probably won't be returning. I did file a report with the BBB against this company because I've never been treated so horribly and they appear to have a lack of knowledge when it comes to filing taxes, now this may be the online feature only but I don't trust these people and I can't wait for everything to be resolved so I NEVER have to deal with them again.

    Also, I still can't seem to find ANYTHING on the official WMR, this should've been my first idea that something was wrong.

    I will not use this company again. I have had to call and also send out two emails to them to get information on my RAL. My return was excepted at 8:22 pm on thursday Jan 29, 2015 and it is now 12:08 am Jan 31, 2015 and I have yet to receive funds deposited into my acct, even though their site says it takes 12 hours or less (false advertisement). I havent heard anything back from taxnet at all. Also, I usually do my taxes myself but needed the extra money before receiving my refund so i chose to do the RAL. Before i applied i entered in all my tax information to see the amount of my refund, not submitting it. When Taxnet gave me my expected federal refund it was OVER 1,000 DOLLARS less than the amount i got when i entered in my own tax information, but still i went ahead and signed the documents because I needed the loan. I will not recommend or ever let anyone else do my taxes ever again especially not TAXNETFINANCIAL.COM

    I have been w y'all three years and it's true every year there is little communication problem on when I will get my refund. I received my RAL weeks ago and still no refund. I w am wondering why nobody in your customer service knows. I finally got a call back from someone that actually cares after days she was helpful but now it's a run around again.Good overall service but lack of communication leads everyone to wonder is my refund being done right. That's my opinion thanks.

    I am very upset with your business or whatever you want to call yourselves. Your charging me $350 to receive a tax refund for only $6611.00 dollars. That is not correct, I have not even received a copy of this supposedly return to see how my taxes were even filled. I am suppose to get back a total of $7,530 federal and $350 state. This is what happens when you scam people into applying for a RAL knowing we will not get approved then file my taxes using my last paystub which does not even have all of my info and you got me the lowest possible refund, I received almost $8000 last year from filing my own taxes.     This company is full of dung. I emailed asking for a full copy of my 1040s including state return and was told "Once you send your w2 we can complete your state return" however I spoke with a supervisor and HE told me that they pull your W2's. I'm so over this place. I've never been this disgruntled and upset with a business before and you're playing with people money. I'm not EVEN MORE upset because if I hadn't emailed them then I wouldn't have known that my state taxes weren't even filed with my supposed federal. I say supposed because I can't seem to pull anything up on the WMR site even though on their bogus site it's showing it's accepted. It's this constant battle between the business and consumers that make people upset, why would you NOT relay that to THE PERSON WHOSE MONEY YOU'RE HANDLING that information was needed. It's a constant struggle to get answers and THIS is why people keep calling this company a scam and to anyone THINKING of dealing with this company PLEASE read the reviews, I am a REAL person and go to real PROFESSIONALS or TurboTax. A homeless person on the street is probably better than dealing with these guys.

    Communication could be better next year . Customer service is limited with knowledge of your tax return and loan approval . Taxnet financial does come thru tho and do what they say . I was in the early accepted group with the irs , I am awaiting my ral deposit and should have my tax return within a few days ! I will be doing business again next year !!!

    You do file returns with out permission. I have sent this company over 20emails and called hundreds of times since december 26,2014 stating I did not want to file with this company I was going to if I received the holiday loan of course. No one ever answers the damn phone or returns my damn emails. I only made 12000 last year and have dependents and 1098t info. This company decides to.file my social with the irs with no correct figures where the h*!! You got these figires who knows sure was not from the stuff i sent. So now I have a refund of 426 dollars wth. After I contacted your pathetic excise of a reputable company stating im not filing with you calls no answers no return calls. Will ill be damned im pissed and I will be all over this company with my multiple pages of emails and calls logs to this fraud/ theft of a establishment saying I donot want with only an automated reply. Im poor and you all messed me over.. im going to be every where letting every damn site that mentions filing taxes what this company is.

    I am a little disappointed...Yes, I received the RAL on December 23. However, I received email and text that IRS had accepted my return on January 14. If my return has already been accepted why is there no information about this on Wheres My Refund?

The IRS has accepted your return on January 14th (you are in a group of "early" tax returns accepted). The IRS announced that the official start of acceptance of tax returns is January 20th ;however, as a pilot test they always select a small percentage of returns to process to ensure the "systems" are working as designed. This is common and occurs every year. The selection for early processing each year appears random.

    The issue that arises as you mentioned in your review is your information is not yet be available on the "Where is my refund" IRS site. This is because the "Where is my refund" IRS site begins on January 20th the "Official" start date. The good news is that your expected deposit date of your actual refund is Monday January 26th (provided there are no IRS delays). Typically the deposits occur on a Friday so be sure to check your bank account on Friday January 23rd. We wish we could take credit for the early refund ;however, this was a selection process by the IRS and we have no input.

    We hope despite the IRS system not having your information you will not hold us accountable and will return again next year.

    I wrote the review below and still waiting for the supervisor call. I'm not upset anymore about being denied because it was a valuable lesson learned to never trust a company you never heard of. The reason myself (and it seems most other reviewers) are upset is due to the horrible lack of communication. I shouldn't have to request a supervisor when I need answers because of the inept customer service team. This is a HUGE fault and makes consumers (especially first time) lose trust in your company. The only thing I'm seeking now is a copy of my 1040's because it appears the amount that I was given on my return is inaccurate OR they lied about my taxes being accepted OR the amount they listed in the RAL was false. This is a problem and after seeing that most reviews are from 2014-present it makes me doubt your "12 years" of service. I will NEVER do this again and honestly hope my taxes are rejected so I can have a professional go back and recheck your work. I expect some copy/paste response that doesn't address concerns because your company hasn't seemed to care about anything other than "it's your bank's fault" or "due your due diligence". It seems like it's preying on customers and it's really sad.

    Okay. Last week i applied. I tried to do it on my phone. I kept messing up so bad i had to wait to use my laptop Then I realised I needed a lot of info. Past job stubs, job area code. I realized I knew nothing about this process -____- . i used my military id. Any state issued works. My friend tried his facebook picture and got denied haha.(but got it fixed) but anyways after signing my Ral i was waiting and got anxious. I didnt know you would have the money processed without an approval letter. So i thought it was taking too long. Come to find out after calling customer service they told me my bank was closed for the weekend (like most banks, which i forgot) and id have to wait monday. But in the end it worked out. I got my money and figured I'd share my experience. I think next year will be smoothed now that I figured out how it works and I'm definitely processing on a monday!! XD

    It makes me so mad to see one star reviews from people who are mad from being declined. Obviously the company can deny you for a reason but doesn't make them totally bad! I haven't had any issue receiving my loan or my taxes being processed. Stop the spite because your denied !!

    How do you know if you've been approved for the loan or not? I got an email saying my return was accepted by the irs which confused me as the irs isn't accepting returns until the 20th.

    Okay, I've wrote multiple reviews since being denied for the RAL. I let it go and then got a text message that my taxes were accepted, I tried to look it up on the IRS site using the amount that was listed in the RAL and it couldn't pull anything up. I then emailed customer service asking for a copy of my 1040s because this company has lost ANY trust that I gave them and I'm taking it to someone else for a double check however was told that I would receive it in a couple of weeks? WHAT?! I've NEVER heard of NOT getting a copy of your taxes and then she made it seem like it was an asinine question to even want a copy. If you filed my taxes it should be able to pull up on the IRS site and a copy of the 1040 or SOMETHING should be available so the customer that just paid $345 for services should be able to get. So now I'm waiting for yet ANOTHER supervisor call just so I can ask them why can't I seem to get any information on important information that was supposedly filed.

    Remember your tax return copy is within your actual original agreement (signed) email. If you are requesting a duplicate copy we provide copies for free.

    We typically DO NOT provide a second copy until after your tax return has been accepted by the IRS. We believe this is part of the confusion you experienced. The IRS is not accepting tax returns until January 20th 2015.

    Why do we wait until the IRS accepts the tax return to provide an additional copy?

    The reason is because if the IRS doesn't accept your tax return (example error with dependent social security number). We need to make a change to cure the rejection. Next year when you are looking for a copy of your tax return you may have the tax return that contained the error. We prefer (automated system) to allow the process to complete. You receive an initial copy of your tax return at the "time of e-filing" and a copy of your "accepted" tax return once the IRS has "accepted" your filed tax return.

    We believe an additional copy has been generated for you and you are now content with the tax return. If this is not the case or you require further attention please contact us via email (customer service phone lines closed during weekends and holidays).

    This was my first and will be the last!!! I simplify file for a loan because I'm on a short term disabilty and need sum extra cash.i faxed everything and they said my application was accepted,then they e-mail me two weeks later and said my application for ral was denied? Then I ask them not to file my taxes because i honestly didn't know they were filing my tax they told me i already sign my form,no way I'm calling the irs and put a stop to this!! I don't owe irs or child support so what's the problem!!!

    I signed up for the early Christmas loan. Was declined I attempted every day all day to reach someone by phone. Was unsuccessful. I was even willing to pay the processing fee for them not to file my taxes. Well get a email/text saying my refund was accepted by the IRS. Not happy at all. Will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

    I am now about to be evicted because I can't get any answers from your customer support staff. I received and e-signed my documents on 1/9/15. I got another email saying the documents have been received. Since then nothing. And I understand ach deposits are not processed on weekends but this was Friday morning so my bank still processes overnight Friday into Saturday. Is there someone who can tell me if my funds have been releases on tax advances end?

    I filed on the December 17th and 18th. I also faxed my check stubs on the 18th. After submitting my check stubs I didn't receive an email of approval or one saying I was declined. After calling I was told that the problem could be because I would not have a check stub dated after December 16th. However I would be eligible for a loan starting December 31 and to call back then. I did and on December 31st the offices were closed. I have tried several times to get help from the customer service representives but it seems as if what they can help with is limited. I am unsure if I need to resubmit another application or if I need to correct the current application. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes, if your application was deemed "incomplete" you are able to resubmit/edit your original application. You are not declined for an "incomplete" submission; you have an opportunity to make corrections.

    To edit your original application go back to the email notifying you of the "incomplete" application. There is a link within the email "MY RAL ADVANCE". Click on this link, edit your application, and resubmit.

    If you are unable to locate the email contact our customer service department between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday and request your "incomplete" email to be resent. For security purposes our customer service department is unable to resend emails to alternate email addresses.

    We hope that this helps and we can assist you with your request. We apologize for any confusion during your RAL application process. Please keep us posted.

    Ok , after reading reviews on here I am extremely worried . I filed on 12/17/14 for the holiday tax advance , got an email stating my application was received. That was all I heard. I called customer service on 12/23/14 and was told my application was in the loan dept and that I should be receiving an email . Nothing at all , I had gave up then I received a loan agreement on 1/6/14 ; I signed and returned I was under impression that I would receive funds direct deposited within 12 hours . Nothing . .
    I called on 12/7/15 and was told my application was in loan dept and I should be receiving email within 24 hours ! Really!?!?! It just does not add up ! Either customer service employees are not properly trained as to what is going on , or there really is no holiday tax advance with them . Either wqy it is def. False advertisement and you can bet if I dont receive my loan come monday I will make sure the irs does not accept my return from them !

    I just completed my RAL agreement and signed @ 1am yesterday I thought I would received the funds in 12 hrs but yet to have not I'm confused. I don't owe child support or anything and I double check my banking info. I was accepted on Wednesday and almost 24 hrs later I was asked for esig. I don't kno what's going on

    Good Morning,

    I'm inquiring about when will I receive an approval or denial email. I have called the customer service toll free line but there's no answer or I get hung up on. I am starting to get concerned seeing that not only do have my personal information but also my daughters and I can not speak to anyone about my information and customer service representatives are rude and not knowledgeable of any information to help ease my worries, they only add to it. I would really just like a true, realistic timeline of this process considering that your website is very vague about that.

    The customer service department although equipped with the know how to help consumers complete an accurate application will NEVER have actual loan decision information. Loan decision information is (protected for your privacy) and shared only with YOU in writing (email notification alert).

    If approved your loan proceeds are deposited to your checking, savings, or prepaid account within 12 hours in accordance with your RAL agreement. If you are denied a written notification indicating the reason for the adverse decision is sent to your email address and/or home address.

    We understand there is a slight waiting period between the time you e-sign your agreement and the funds appear in your account. During this period we urge consumers to remain patient until the funds post to the account. Our customer service department will not be able to provide an actual time your funds will be made available or if a consumer was approved or denied.

    We would prefer that the funds post immediately; however, there is an "in transit" waiting period required for YOUR financial institution to post funds to your individual account. This "in transit" time varies on your financial institution but keep in mind that financial institutions DO NOT post ACH transfers during Federal Holidays or Weekends.

    There is no faster or safer way for consumers to receive tax loan proceeds than an ACH transfer. We urge applicants to be patient during the "in transit" period. If our customer service or finance department could hasten the funds posting to your account...THEY WOULD.

    By the way don't worry your information is safeguarded and secure. We NEVER share your personal information with any third parties unless we have your written consent or if required by law.

    This place is a scam. Denied for a RAL. No past due obligations and they still want us to pay them $345 to prepare our taxes INCORRECTLY. Customer service hung up on my husband when he questioned their practices. Do not waste your time or money. And if you have fallen victim to these predators contact the IRS and let them know you do not authorize these scam artists to file your taxes.

    Got my ral advance 2am bank texted me. I applied on 12/22 and esigned 12/24 frustrating time. Supervisor contacted me yesterday he worked on situation . My application was not done properly it was corrected. Thanks to supervisor and staff that looked into my situation and got the job done.

    Ok. I did get my funds. Thank you. I submitted paperwork Thursday night. Then Friday night I received documents to esign. Just checked my bank and funds were received today. Hope this helps for the ones looking for information.

    As of right this minute I have been emailing back and forth with taxnetfinancial. I am somewhat confused. I esigned my paperwork when I made an enquiry about when I should expect to receive my funds the person emailing me back said I dis not have an application and told me to resubmit. I sent a copy of my esigned forms. Now waiting. I will change my rating once I have answers. I know tax season is extremely busy in January so I am trying to have some patience. But its kind of wierd that who ever I am emailing does not have my information.

The Department of Treasury will issue your tax refund directly to the same account you established as part of YOUR RAL Agreement. A refund anticipation loan finance fee of $57 (APR 208.05% is based on a 10 day tax loan period) is deducted from your actual refund plus the outstanding $1,000 principal loan amount for a total reduction of $1,057. There is no additional fee charged if your loan payback period exceeds the 10 day tax loan period.

    The IRS will begin processing tax returns (provided there are no delays) on January 20, 2015.     Ok I have been beyond patient. I signed RAL agreement since 12/23/2014 I have called and was told email has already been sent about your application. I automatically get email alerts from my mobile phone I checked my spam and inbox I have called again holding time is long I have sent about 5 emails with my first and last name along with last 4 of my social security number still no response.If I was denied no email about a denial. I just want one simple answer have I been approved for a RAL or not I have commented on this website and I get answers that I should have received my deposit by now upon approval or a letter of denial. I have neither ! UGGGGHHHH please I need an urgent response If I have a deposit coming I want to know I could use it to pay for my car payment and put food in my refrigerator for my kids. I am so tired of hearing funds are "in transit" I am wondering if my funds are lost keep calling the bank no incoming deposit today. The bank tells me to check back with company sending the money because they have nothing on their end.come on taxnet financial this is 2015 technology is so advanced with a click of a computer you can give people a yes or no so nobody won't have to post their frustrations on this site. If your application was correct you would receive a "accepted" email and if not you would receive an "incomplete" email with instructions on how to cure the issue(s). Please email us from the email address listed in your RAL application and we will send you the link to review your RAL application. If you signed your RAL agreement that does mean your information was complete. The question is when did you e-sign your RAL agreement was it recently?

    This company is a SCAM! Please call the IRS and put a block on your social security number. The positive reviews you read are from the company itself. The copy and paste responses are vague and still provide no answers. They are taking advantage of people with their fake RAL applications. There was a poster I read that had info for reporting them. I called before filling out my application to "do my due diligence: like the CS replied many times and the from the City of Chicago investigator's office I was told that they have several pending fraud complaints against them- DO NOT FILE! THEY ARE A SCAM- and before you reply back CSR- I have done all my due diligence and know for a fact that TAXNET is under investigation for fraudulent activity so stop lying to hard working people and promising money they will not receive, referring them to your CS department for reps that will not help & for the love of humanity STOP BLAMING THE BANKS FOR NOT POSTING RETURNS you have not sent!!!!

    This place is a joke, the customer service is laughable, the inconsistencies in what you're told is horrible. This is the only company where I kept notes on what I was told and then compare it to what I read on here and nothing matches. I've been hung up on several times for questioning their policies or for asking for documentation in writing. The advertisement is misleading with $1,000 RAL when after paying them $345, plus $57 you only get $655 so why not just advertise it correctly? Taxnet specifically told a user that she can cancel her loan so she can file with Turbo Tax however I received an email that stated you can't do that and you would have to file a paper return? You can only e-file once so if you guys "supposedly" e-filed my taxes WITHOUT all my information then that's already an issue in itself. I did this because like most I was desperate around the holiday season however ignore the reviews that I believe are fake and take a look at the other reviews and think LONG and HARD before taking this decision. I will NEVER frequent this company again and will make it known so that others don't make the same mistake. I'm not sure how the local office compares to online service, but if you can just wait until tax time so you can get your refund back.

    Also, to the reviewer that stated $300 isn't too much to file taxes? Please. Where do you get your taxes done and it costs that much INCLUDING state? It's not worth it in the long run.

    This was a really good program. I will admit it was very frustrating at first because I didn't really know how it worked. It says on the website you will receive you loan within 12 hours of the irs approving it. What it fails to mention is how long it takes to get to that point. Also the amount is misleading true the loan is 1000 but they take out all their fees from that so you end up with about 650 which if your short on cash helps. This was defiantly helpful and I would hate to see this program end because having the extra money then was a life saver. However I would say that if you are in a time sensitive situation where you need the loan I would suggest finding another alternative as the process takes almost a week.

    Although your application didn't process the same day most RAL applications are processed the same day. The loan proceeds are "sent" within 12 hours to your checking, savings, or prepaid card account. We have absolutely no motivation to hold on to consumer's loan proceeds for any extra length of time. We understand that our clients request RALs because they require the loan proceeds "as soon as possible".

    Consumers have the option to pay for tax preparation fees via a credit card or can elect to pay no upfront fees.

    No worries we plan to continue to offer all tax solutions to taxpayers and their families including the option to apply for a refund anticipation loan in 2016. The RAL program is not the best option for all consumers and we urge taxpayers to be responsible and consider all options prior to applying for a refund anticipation loan.

    Free File provides free federal tax preparation and e-file for taxpayers, either through brand-name software or online fillable forms. This year, you have until April 15, 2015, to file and pay your taxes or request an extension. To qualify for the free federal tax preparation and e-file your adjusted gross income must be $60,000 or less.

    I signed my agreement on 12/22 and received my loan a week later. Although I did not receive in time for Christmas, the process was very easy; all via internet/online. Everyone griping about the $300 something fee are missing that this is for the ENTIRE tax process, not just your holiday loan. They will automatically process your FEDERAL AND STATE return for this cost. Thats a screaming deal. I will use them again next year.

    I signed my RAL on 12/23/2014 it is 1/04/2014 and still no money and all communications has cease.I called customer service she said I got an email already but where is it and what is the email about? This is the reason why people are skeptical because I can't get a straight answer. O sent several emails no response. I am tired of reading about deposit can take up to 12 hours or call your bank. I have called my bank on buisness days no incoming deposit .Obviously I submitted all my info correct because they claim esign is final step. I check my spam box and inbox nothing. Even though I signed the contract I am not doing my taxes with Taxnet I am going back to Turbo Tax.You can't file my taxes without my w2 so I not obligated to file my taxes with this company.They simply didn't deliver....

    If you signed your RAL Agreement on December 23, 2014 there is definitely an issue with your application because you should have received a loan decision and/or deposit by now.

    If you can email us today at refund@taxnetfinancial.com we can review your account and send a application update. Please ensure that you email us from the email address you listed in your RAL application. If you would like to cancel and use Turbo tax just send us an email indicating your wish to cancel.

    We urge all consumers to perform a due diligence prior to completing a loan request. We have been offering tax related products responsibly since 2002. Consumers should be skeptical of loan companies that request application fees upfront.

    We don't perform a credit check nor request any upfront fees. We have a high approval rate ;however, not all loan applications will be approved. For example, if you have an outstanding federal and/or state obligation such as delinquent child support your loan will be denied and an adverse notification will be sent to your email address on file with the reason(s).

    Some consumers will also experience delays during the process but the majority of our clients will complete the online interview without incident. We urge consumers to review the attachments for clarity prior to submission. Many delays occur because the attachments are not complete or not readable.

    I came to a conclusion taxnet does not have a RAL program it just a scam to get to file taxes and reading these phony reviews on how people got their ral on time for christmas or how they got a response back immediately or how people have to show respect to customer service well you have to earn respect to get respect.No one can give real answers as to why there is no communication I signed a ral before Christmas and still no money or letter of denial. I work in customer service and I believe it is your duty to deliver excellent service and not have people guessing.It just doesn't add up there are more negative reviews than postive reviews someone trying to make it seem that things are running smoothly. I apologize to taxnet customers who haven't received any communication about your rals.I wish they can be honest and say they are experiencing some problems.

    We have an update from the IRS that actual tax refunds will begin processing on January 20, 2015. All of our clients are signed up for our free email and text alerts. You can also go to "Where is my refund" on our website page or call 312.698.3651 and select option #1 to receive the current status of your actual refund. The alerts and the automated messaging is connected with the IRS system so it doesn't become available until January 20, 2015. We don't have any control over the processing time of tax returns but the IRS states that most refunds are issued between 10-21 days. We have a stake in making sure your tax return is processed as quickly as possible and that you are receiving YOUR updates so you know exactly what is going on with your actual refund.

    Ive applied with this company three times and have yet to get a "REAL ANSWER'about my application, and i think it would be professional if and when someone comes on the phone that they can tell you where your loan application is and what the status is!!!!

Review the RAL agreement and e-sign if you agree to the terms and conditions of the RAL agreement.

    I worked with this company 2009,2010 2012,2013 and again this year. As far as getting the maximum return and making sure your documents are on point, in the earlier years were better as far as the communication was on point! I've worked with Lloyd W. And Carmen. I would get a timely callback and email. Maximum return. The last year and this year however no return callback and email. When you call customer service you wait 20min and disconnected and you call back wait 15 min. The service rep was kind to go over my work again and said it was forwarded to the loan dept and I should receive an email. Still waiting... I also applied for the Ral but I would like to know at least what my refund is due to my tax circumstances are more complicated this year. I will update when I hear something. Overall, they are a good company or I would not have returned to them. They customer service needs to step up not go backwards. I will update when I finish the process.

    Hi my name is Meneka ive been working with taxnet for about 6 years. They always help me out and responded through my email. This year I got the loan which it came right on time I was in the middle of moving and was short on the deposit the money was in my bank account in no time I will always work with tax net financial they are the best and I been to other places they are nice and fast thanks tax net financial and Lloyd.

    Such a bad experience. No one in customer service apparently has access to any information, making it near impossible to get an update. I signed forms for the RAL app on Friday, Dec 26th. That's the last I heard of it. I have no child support, back taxes, or loan monies due, so I don't know why I would be denied. The ONE day I managed to actually speak with someone I had to force my way to speaking with a manager, who said they would email the tax people to see what was the holdup. No response. I also have issue with the fact that I haven't received a copy of my taxes although the loan app states what my refund would be and what the tax prep fees are. They insist that a copy was included in the RAL email, but I guess I'm crazy because I cannot find it. Anyways, sorry for this rambling review. This place sucks, I shoulda known better. And I will be putting a hold on my social so they cannot file for me. And they can eat that tax prep fee because I will NEVER pay it. My two cents.

    You guys suck and are not professional. The person(s) who responds to these reviews are full of it too, just cutting and pasting the same info over and over to make it look like they actually have knowledge. Horrible.

The automated updates are from a different server and many times depending on your email security settings these emails are blocked and sent to a consumer's spam folder.     Last year I did not get the loan because of mistakes i made.. Basically you have to make sure all the information you send Is correct don't rush. I don't know about this year I haven't received a response but I know that when it comes to filing taxes they are great.

    i have been w/ tax net financial for 5 years know. i have a family of 7 so the holidays are tough and i rely on a tax loan for Christmas which i have not had a problem w/ thus far. However on December 22 of 2014(Monday) i realized i made a mistake w/ my account# & routing # so now i am going crazy thinking i am not going to get my loan in time. But when i called & talked to customer service and told them what had happened they assured me they would do everything in there power to make the correction so i would receive my loan in time. sure enough they kept to their end of the bargain and i received my loan on Christmas Eve morning in plenty of time to finish my shopping.     I recently lost my job after Thanksgiving. With no income, coming in, I had no money to get my girls Christmas gifts. It was coming down to where I was out of food, I was out of everything. Then I got this text message saying I had 665.00 deposited into my account from taxnet financial, they approved my holiday loan just in time for the holidays. Thank you Tax net financial

    I applied for the anticipation loan on 12/1, I have been calling customer service for the past month, and they kept telling me I would receive an email. Finally, today, I spoke with someone who actually does his job! He told me that they couldn't see the employer identification number on one of my forms. I was able to go online and edit the application. I called back to verify the change I made, and was told I would get an email confirmation later today... Still waiting...

    If you submitted your application we also hope that customer service advised you that you will need to resubmit your application. Our system began reviewing 2014 applications on the start date of your program December 16, 2014. If you applied prior to 12/16/2014 as you noted in your review this could delay your application filing. In addition, failure to include all information requested in the application will cause a delay (e.g. no employer identification number or prior year W-2).

    If you have edited the application you are now back on track.

    Taxnet financial what is your definition of customer service? Their are people out here that have submitted their info and no communication from your company. Their are people like myself who signed a ral and no deposit! Hell I don't know if I was approved or denied. If I was denied I wouldn't know that either because I haven't received a letter. I have been waiting since the 22nd of December I have called and all I get is you will get an email,sent several emails and still no responses. I have been very patience. This company can at least write a page,note, or memo explaning the delay of communciations or why some have not got their deposits if approved or letters explaining denial.Please can someone give some real answers?

This "in transit" time varies on your financial institution but keep in mind that financial institutions DO NOT post ACH transfers during Federal Holidays or Weekends.

    The majority of our loan applicants exercise patience during the "in transit" period but a some applicants become frustrated and may even post a negative review or contact our customer service department.

    There is no Faster or Safer way for applicants to receive loan proceeds than an ACH transfer. We urge applicants to be patient during the "in transit" period. If our customer service department team could hasten the funds posting to your account...THEY WOULD.

    Terrible customer service. They asked for pay stubs and I emailed them. Haven't heard a word yet. Called waited forever to talk to someone only to get you will get an email. Is this company for real? They can't answer or look up to see if they received my pay stubs?

    I applied on 12/17 for this so called holiday loan. I did not receive any emails from the until 12/23 saying my application has been accepted. It is now 1/2 and still haven't received and email from them. I have called them several times and still nothing. I only applied so I could get some extra cash for Christmas... Just wanted to say thanks for nothing. I will not be doing this again after reading all these reviews I can honestly say I'm glad I didn't get " RAL" letter

    RAL applications are normally processed the same day unless the information submitted is either incomplete or inaccurate. You are notified via email alerts during the entire process until you are able to e-sign your RAL agreement [Final Step]. If for any reason your loan request is denied you are notified via email.

    I signed my ral agreement on 12/23. I called customer service and keep getting vague answers. In the agreement it says wait for deposit upon approval. If denied how long you have to wait for a denial email called prepaid card company they say they will never hold funds they are released as soon as they get it.
    Has anyone received their ral funds since signing papers on 12/23 i am waiting on denail or approval.

    I was very skeptical about this company because I usually use Turbo Tax and H&R block but I really need it a quick loan to pay my rent today. So I applied last week and this morning I got the money!!! The only reason I am giving this company a 4 stars is because I was expecting a quicker process (same day loan as advertised).     I submitted all my info on 12/22 got an email to esign documents On 12/23 .Does that mean I was approved? I haven't received any communication since. I called customer service she said they already sent me email about that. I told her only email I received was to sign agreement. I checked spam and inbox I would not do my taxes with them. I called bank no incoming deposit. Taxnet financial are you overwhelmed with loan apps is there a website I can check on my app I did last year raladvance. Com but apparently it shows last year application please more info.

    Generally, if you have submitted all of your information we are able to process your loan request the same day. We are designed for high demand and volume ;however, if applications are incomplete or contain errors this could cause a delay.

    Our company discontinued raladvance.com at the end of last year in place of a live application without a need to log in. Many applicants took issue with log in requirements before getting started with the tax interview.

    We will continue to look at solutions (including a mobile application) for the 2015 tax season.

    When you sign your e-signature documents you are giving permission for our loan department to perform a loan review (including checking for back taxes or delinquent debt that might reduce or delay your actual refund). There is no credit check with a RAL but a limited loan review is performed. If you are approved the loan proceeds are sent within 12 hours or less.

    I am confused. I signed my loan this morning, it states my expected federal tax refund. So do I file my state separately ? And how long does it take for a final approval or denial notification? And it says you pay the 57 fee the 345 tax prep fee , it that it or will I be charged more?

    this company is a full-blown scam. I applied with my last pay stub and gave them all the documents. I received the email stating that I was approved for the loan. when I read the fine print it stated that the company won't process your refund anticipation loan until the IRS accepts your tax return. The IRS won't the accepting your tax return until January 23rd 2015. so basically what this company does is this game you into filing your taxes with them.I suggest anybody who has not received their loan by the first week of January, call the IRS and request a block to be put on your social security number for taxes. This will prevent them from filing your taxes on your behalf. Giving you the option to file your taxes with whoever you want to. The reason why they don't get in trouble is because this information is in the fine print. Their business is built on people who are in a bindand need the cash.your bank has nothing to do with releasing funds once its sent.the sender is the one who applies a post date. please no one sign up for the scam !!!!! I'll say it again, call the IRS and block you social security number so they can not file your taxes!!! That will put there asses out of business !!

    Applied 12/18, sent documents and still no response after submitting my signed documents on 12/22. I think this company is a scam! Notice that everytime someone complains and posts a honest complaint or review, Taxnet responds and then coincidentally positive reviews appear shortly after with I got my refund! I suggest that everyone who has filed and not received their loans by end of day start reporting this company for the frauds they are! I have already submitted my complaints.

    Sent back signed documents on 12/23 and still nothing. No email response, no info from customer service after holding for 15 min I was disconnected. I keep seeing Taxnets generic responses about our banks not processing deposits, THERE HAS TO BE A DEPOSIT TO PROCESS FIRST!!! So no Taxnet it's not our banks holding up our loans its you and your shady loan process! Save your time and frustration- DONT APPLY! You won't get the full 1,000 they advertise- you will pay 345.00 whether you get a loan or not and end up with 655.00 instead! Scam artist preying on hard working Americans!     I applied on 12/20 and signed on 12/22 still have heard nothing when I call or go online to check it says no information on the SSN entered I would like some answers here what's the point of a holiday loan if you don't get it before the holidays

    I applied on 12/22, received an email on 12/23 stating my loan was accepted- received another email with the esign on 12/23, signed everything and received confirmation that the documents were received. I haven't received anything else after. I called on 12/26 and after being on hold for over 30 min was told by a CS representative that I should be getting an approval email no later than 12/27 ( he stated they were working on 12/27 to make up for 12/25) I haven't' received any emails, I'm not sure what the difference between acceptance and approval is or what the process is after you have sent back the signed documents. I'm still waiting on any kind of information to be emailed. I have read the companies responses and most answers are copy paste and place blame on the customers banks for holding the deposits. I just hope that I receive some information tomorrow when I call and I really hope I haven't just agreed to pay 345.00 for nothing. I usually file my own taxes on Turbo Tax for a fraction of that cost but my husbands medical bills due to cancer have left us really in a financial bind this month. I really would like some clarification on the approval process after you send back your signed documents and what the time frame is for the final approval of you have uploaded all the documents at the time of your application

    Taxnet leaves you hanging....They don't inform you if your approved or not. There communication skills could be 1000% better. Give people timely updates so they can look for other options.

If you are denied an email alert which includes the reason for the adverse decision is sent (check also spam folder).

    Unfortunately, the loan officers are not allowed to share loan decision information with anyone except the applicant(s) [if filing married jointly] so that places us in a challenging position. If we had access we would let you know the answer.

    Loan proceeds are always disbursed within 12 hours or less but we are unable to determine the timing in which YOUR financial institution posts the funds to your account. Most banks make funds available for use the next business day (excludes weekends & holidays). ACH transfers NEVER post on weekends or federal holidays. ACH debits must clear the federal reserve banking system which is not open on weekends or federal holidays.

    For more detailed information of timing of deposits contact your financial institution and ask about ACH transfers and the "POST" policy. The loan officers do communicate adverse loan decisions via email (includes reason for adverse decision).     The automated system is available to check the status of your actual refund including the amount of deposits and principal loan outstanding amounts. The automated system works in conjunction with the IRS system. The IRS system and our system will not be available until the IRS opens on January 23, 2015 (provided there are no further delays).

    I signed RAL agreement on 12/2 and have not receuved an approval email, denial email, or a deposit. In fact all communication has stopped.
    Just as a side note...I have received several "ACH" transactions via my bank since then that cleared fine..including one that cleared on Christmas day!!..an amazon refund, a paycheck deposit and a paypal transfer...so please TAXNET dont tell me this is abut my banks processing. This is about communication.
    Taxnets CS team should be able to pull up someones info and give some type of update.
    oh...and also--when I use the automated system to check status, it says it does not recognize my social security number!!! Whats up with that??

    I applied for a Ral holiday loan on 12/18, I received and email saying that my application had been received, but come to find out they needed my final paycheck of 2014....so why did they initially say any paycheck after the 16th??? Because I get paid weekly on a Thursday, so my last paycheck was actually the 24th, since Thursday fell on a holiday. So I faxed that check stub & I am still waiting to hear something, because apparently they were closed today Friday, Dec. 16th. I wish I could get an update on my loan, but I must say so far I'm very displeased with the service & not being updated about my loan status. And now I'm wondering do I have to wait until Dec 31st for my loan application to be processed??? Its just so many unanswered questions with this company. I will update my review when I hear something about my application, please other reviewers do the same, please. Happy holidays!

    During the tax interview the field reads "FINAL" wagestatement/paycheck stub. We require your "FINAL" not "any paycheck....".

    You can edit your application and upload your "FINAL" paycheck stub once you receive it from your employer. Go back to the email notification you received and click on "GO TO MY RAL ADVANCE". This will open your application and allow edits including uploading "new documents".

    I just called and talked to a CS rep. She stated that if you're approved funds will be deposited to your account. If you're denied that you will receive a denial letter by email. It sounds right, but I would like something in writing saying I'm approved. One rep told me that I would get an approval letter by email. They are polite and they have processed my information all in one day. I guess it's a waiting game.

    Unfortunately, we don't send email approval letters. The RAL Agreement is your binding letter and notification. Once you e-sign your RAL agreement your loan review/deposit process begins. Upon approval your loan funds are sent to your account within 12 hours or less. If for any reason we are unable to complete your loan request an email alert is sent with the reason for the adverse decision.

    We understand there is a slight waiting period between the time you e-sign your agreement and the funds appear in your account [Many negative consumer complaints and calls to our customer service department occur during this time]. During this period we ask consumers to remain patient until the funds post to your account. Our customer service department will not be able to provide an actual time your funds will be made available.

    We did research your question. Per company policy loan officers don't send approval emails for the following reasons:

    (1) May cause further frustration to consumers if after receiving the "approval" email your financial institution still has not yet posted your loan proceeds.
    (2) Additional loan officers (resources) would be required to send out emails to every client approved for a RAL.
    (3) The truth in lending act requires lenders to provide consumers with certain disclosures (e.g. finance charge annual percentage rate). There is no such requirement to provide a notice of approval to consumers.
    (4) A notice of approval would not decrease the waiting time for funds availability.
    (5) The waiting time from the time of approval and funds being sent is 12 hours or less and disclosed within every RAL Agreement.

    We are hoping this helps you and other consumers. We imagine that your funds have posted to your account by now. If you do require further assistance please contact us.

    I am in the same boat as most of the reviews posted. I sent all of my signed documents back on 12/22/14. I uploaded my ID & Paystub. I have received no emails after submitting my signed agreement. I called CS today, was on hold for 20 min just to hear wait for the loan department to send you another email. Apparently all the CS department does is just process applications but have no information further than that. I feel that the 349.00 fee to file taxes is extremely unreasonable especially when they are not giving the information necessary for some that have filed applications and have heard nothing for days. The face that your obligated to pay or whether you cancel your application or not is also unrealistic. If you need the money you really are left without many options though. Hopefully they are just backlogged due to high demand and we will all receive our loans soon.

    My documents were received by them on December 16, 2014 and according to customer service, my paperwork has been processing since the 16th. I get the run around every time I have called customer service. I am beyond frustrated with this service. I just want a honest answer. I have asked to speak to a manager and never get called back.

    I have been trying to reach someone since Wednesday for an update, haven't received or heard anything since I signed my agreement on 12/22/14 at 7:09PM. I have no clue what's going on and it feels like I just got scammed out of paying a company $345 to do my taxes. I would not recommend this service to anyone and if you can wait go elsewhere to get your taxes done. The customer service, while polite, are not on the same page. I was told I would receive my RAL by 12/24/14 and my bank is excellent at depositing money once an ACH payment has been received so please no more cut and copy responses. It's now 12/26/14 and nothing and I can't reach anyone for an update.

    This is my second year doing this. I unfortunately I didn't receive my RAL before Christmas. Part my fault due to incomplete documents. However they do tell you up front there is no guarantee when you will receive the funds. Therefor I am not upset with the company at all. I in fact will apply again next year. As of yet still waiting for advance but because no other company offers this I feel they are most likely pretty busy. I have always been treated professionally and will continue to use Taxnet.     I'm wondering how anyone has got a holiday loan through this company when it stipulates you need a last pay stub dated from December 16 th - 31st??????????

    All I can say is thank you Taxnet Financial! I am a single parent living paycheck to paycheck , I've used taxnet financial for the past 3 years around the holiday season (christmas ) and they have helped me to provide my children a merry christmas without feeling as tho i've let them down because I only have money for bills and never really get to spoil and buy them things through out the year and without You guys I don't know what I would have done .

    I have used this service for three years now and I love it. It's fast easy and secure. It helps to be able to get the RAL loan around the holidays when you nees a little extra money. I also like not having to figure out where i'm gonna get my taxes done. They are fast andy refund gets deposited into my checking account with no worries and my loan is paid back with out me having to think about it. This service is GREAT!!

    I'm in same boat as everyone! Applied and got email saying it was accepted. Then got email to e-sign I signed it yesterday at 9:00am and still nothing!!! No money No Christmas for my kids this year!!! This is ridiculous. I won't ever do this again

    First time using taxnet and im very disapointed. I applied on 12/19 and was told they couldnt read my last pay statement so i faxed it in. I recieved an email to sign loan agreement on 12/21 called them the next day and was told i was approved to just wait for the deposit. Here it is christmas eve and still no money. I really needed this money before christmas.

    Is there any hope?

    I e-signed my aggreement 2 days ago (12/22) and still no deposit, or email verifying a deposit has been made. I am extremely frustrated as this is far beyond the 12 hours :(

    I will never do this again, I applied on 12/12/14 and faxed my last paycheck stub on 12/18/14 to read that people received replies AFTER I sent in all my information is very discouraging. it's not 12/24/14 I received an application to sign on 12/23/14 at 7:09PM and NOTHING since I was supposed to get a supervisor call back and NOTHING. I am attempting to call the office however assuming they're off, which would be fine if I wasn't told that I would have my funds. It's now Christmas Eve and since I signed that paperwork when my taxes are processed I will be $1,057.00 short and apparently there's no cancelling without paying them $345 I haven't even received an approval email so I don't know what's going on. I, like most needed the extra money for Christmas now thanks to this company not only am I out of luck, I can't even reach anyone to get an update.

    I applied for holiday loan on the 18th of December. I emailed and faxed all of my sensitive personal information. I have yet to hear anything from anyone. I have called customer service 4 times and I have been given the run around each time. I also sent 2 emails with no responses received. I am very disappointed and I am hoping I did not get scammed out of my identity.

In your review you mention that you not only faxed information but also emailed information. The fact that you emailed and faxed information after your initial application indicates that you did not complete your original application completely and you received an email notification to re-submit your application. We have the ability to process applications the same day but that is dependent on the applicant submitting the required information accurately. If you submitted a fax because your initial application was deemed "incomplete" from the day of the fax you should receive a response within 1-2 days (fax processing time) . For other consumers ensure that you are providing the requested information in your tax interview online to avoid unnecessary delays by having to fax information. 95% of applicants will not have to fax information because the original application is complete and readable. Consumers when you upload photos of wage statements make sure amounts are not cut-off and the picture is clear. Loan officers ask for faxes only when the original picture is cut-off or blurry. We are sorry you had this trouble Shannon but these delays are not typical. Rest assured that we NEVER share any of your information with third parties and we don't charge any upfront fees.     i applied for my loan on 12/21/14/. i received my "prior" approaval then i signed all my loan aggreements. called the next day they said i had been approved for loan just wait for funds to be deposited yesterday or today. stil nothing talked to them again got same answer except it is today or tommorrow. how long will this go on.

    I'm a second year customer. I filled out application online for Holiday RAL advance on Saturday, December 20th and got my funds this morning in my account. My bank (Insight Visa Prepaid) posts the funds as soon as they receive them. Be patient, its coming.

    I applied for the RAL on 12/16/2014, I sent in all info on 12/19/2014 I signed my loan agreement on 12/19/2014. I received an email stating I would have my RAL deposit within 12 hours. It's now 1:05 pm 12/23/2014 and I STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED THE DEPOSIT!!!! I called them and was told that I was APPROVED but please just wait... Has anyone actuallyrecieved a loan from this company? Im beginning to believe that maybe there's a problem???? How can Taxnet put in a binding contract that if approved you'll recieve the funds in 12 hours and just dismiss the customers concern ? Help me someone? Did I just get scammed?

    I see the reviews on here seem positive however still skeptical about this company after reading the reviews on the BBB. I applied for a RAL and have yet to hear anything from them and they have very sensitive information about myself and my children. Also, from reading people are stating they aren't even getting $1,000 back but actually like $655, which negates what they're advertising. I tried calling customer service but can never get straight answers which is frustrating from the consumer's point of view.

    My question is why if it is a ral and no credit check is requiered to get the loan aproved why some people dont get aprove.here your saying that is ral and no credit checks but in the bbb you say that not every one is going to get aprove and that your sorry so you guys just trick people into doing their taxes with you guys because you guys charge this big fee when i used to pay 60 and now these days 80 and i still get a good refund with 2 depedents.i was searching online because im in need of getting a loan asap and found out about your company but after all these reviews i dont really know one thing is dont want to wait 3 months to get my refund or do any amends but i do need the loan now.but i dont want to be the next person to be posting how you guys deley the process.i respect your buss thats my opinion and question thanks

    There is no credit check required because your loan is secured by your actual refund. Some applicants will not be approved because they may owe a federal or state obligation that will reduce their actual refund. The most common reason an applicant is denied is if he or she is in default for a federal (e.g. prior year taxes due) or state obligation (e.g. default on child support payments). The IRS may direct part or the entire refund to satisfy that obligation. A refund anticipation loan is not ideal for everyone and you should consider all options prior to applying.     Are there any online tax sites that still offer rapid refund loans?

    OK, since you asked Yes, I managed to find one legit site so far Taxnet Financial Inc. offers instant tax loans online for $57. The phone number is 1 888 509 1040 and website is www.taxnetfinancial.com

    Considering that Refund Anticipation Loans (the more appropriate name for Rapid Refunds) are on the outs since they're only offered during the tax season and direct deposited refunds from e-filed returns are pretty rapid themselves (10 working days), I'm not surprised very few companies offer tax loans these days. Good luck.

    I am sinking into debt and will be moving back in with my family for awhile to try and get things under control. I recently found out there are some ways people can get holiday loans based on the anticipation of their tax refunds for the year.

    I work at a local WalMart where several people have already come in cashing checks similar to this in order to pay for Christmas presents. Can anyone tell me if this is still a "Refund Anticipation Loan" or is it something else on a similar concept to get a Holiday Tax Loan? I know Jackson Hewitt is offering a holiday loan and H&R Block has emerald advance but both of those are credit cards and you need good credit. I am looking for a instant tax loan not a credit card loan.

    Who does this sort of loans, are they offered any more? I could really use something like this to pay off some bills I have had for awhile. I understand that you usually use your tax return to pay back such a loan and you usually stand to loose between 15%-20% of your loan paying it back after fees.

    I'd like someone who has done this before in the past or knows more about this Christmas tax loan to let me know what's going on. Are there any options for me? Is there a way I can get something like this now? If I have to wait under January to file anyways, I will just file for standard taxes as I usually get my refund within the first week.

    * Note: I am not looking for someone's opinion if "Refund Anticipation Loans" are a good idea or not. I am asking for information. Please keep your personal opinions to yourself.

    An actual refund anticipation loan is only available during tax season. It amounts to about a two week loan from the day after you file to the the day the the IRS releases the money. The chain tax prep firms (H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt, Liberty) all offer refund anticipation loans as well as a few independent tax prep locations.

    H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt each have a pre-season loan product that is probably available now.

    They each probably have different requirements and there is no guarantee that you will be approved especially if you have never used either of them before.

    Your best bet is to call an office near you and ask.

    I wouldn't advise it. you are better off waiting and getting all the money for yourself instead of paying a bunch of it to someone else. If you must, try HR Block or Jackson Hewitt Holiday Loans.

    I dont understand why H&R Block is even doing a refund anticipation check this should be considered fraud because they are tricking people into thinking that they will get their refund faster. If you file standard direct deposit and don't take a refund anticipation check you will get it back the same day if not sooner. This should be illegal. Taking advantage of people who do not understand the way the IRS works. Now it would be different if you could file rapid refund the way you used to could and get your taxes back within 2-3 days. I filed the same day online at turbo tax for free and got the same date on the where's my refund site as someone I know who took the refund anticipation check and paid a lot of money. Someone should report H&R Block...
    Instead of a RAL: If you file your federal tax return electronically and arrange for direct deposit into a bank account, you may only wait a few days to receive your refund. The IRS says it can process a return and submit a refund in as little as 10 days of filing if the taxpayer files this way. You can also have your preparer file your return electronically for you.
    At tax time, avoid refund anticipation loans
    If paying for tax preparation is your concern, check the IRS’s information on free help preparing and filing taxes for taxpayers of all ages. Or check for locations of the AARP’s TaxAide program, which is mainly geared toward taxpayers over age 60. Free online tax prep is available to all taxpayers through IRS Free File. (Depending on your state, you still may have to pay to file state returns.)

    Wao , i never knew it was true until i got my loans also , each time i read several testimonies of people about this loan company online i keep feeling it was a set up or probably they were all faking it but not knowing that it was absolutely 100% real . i am also also happy and thankful that i am also a witness to it and now i am among all those testifying about this loan company online.     Taxnet Financial is the best they are much better than H&R Block. I had been with H&R Block for years and had no problem but I now realize i was lucky it was because I had one of the few pros that were good there. He left for another job and the other tax ppl were just terrible I mean they did not even know the names of the tax schedules when I called back with questions. I was referred to Taxnet Financial by a co worker and they had to fix my 2013 tax return and recover $738 I was owed because of the HR Block error. I will use them from now on by the way H&R block tried to deny they made a mistake but I have the IRS check to prove they just lied to my face in the office. Taxnet Financial even did my amended return for Free if I promised to return to them next year. They have no worry I will be back. See you next year!

    I had my taxes filed by my Aunt for years but this year I had a lot of complex issues with my business so I went to Taxnet Financial since they came highly recommended from my real estate agent.

    I requested an appointment and went in on Friday 3/21/2014. Office is convenient located downtown but parking is $35 but they served me snack and tea while I waited so I was already in a good mood by the time I met with my tax guy. Wait was about 10 minutes or so nothing too drastic.

    We talked for a couple of minutes didn't want to waste too much time I know it's a busy time for him so we got right into with my prior year return and then I gave him my business expenses and business income and rental income.

    Overall a great experience, I had a lot of questions and a few I admit I knew the answers but just wanted to confirm he knew my business taxes. Spot on he nailed it every time so then I was very comfortable and they are extremely professional. Building and office is very nice and the fee was reasonable. The IRS just accepted my return and I got an emailed copy and confirmation. Not bad at all for the price i paid it was very decent deal for both my regular and K-1 return.

    I was very well pleased with the level of service and almost sure they are CPA but I didn't need to ask.

    We received our state refund way before our federal refund this year. We were approved for a RAL in Feb but after we received the loan we heard nothing further. So I did get a RAL but they told us this dont delay my federal refund. Usually i get my federal first but we l got 2 weeks later so I woud ask Customer service could be better at contacting me back to let me know when we would receive my wife left a message twice for a manager and did not receive a call back until after we already received our refund. A manager said they was trying to contact us so I guess. All in all we are ok with the service and might do again.

    I have an experience to share. My ex-employer was not providing one of my W-2s to me for reasons I don't understand. I had everything else I needed to file my taxes except this one W-2 because I worked for another company as well. I really needed to file my taxes and I was referred here.

    If anyone has this problem these guys can help. The employer is suppose to provide your W-2 by 1/31 every year regardless of the reason. They not only contacted my employer payroll but also helped me get the IRS transcription to confirm. I am very grateful for the help. Great Job Guys!!!!!!!

    I wish there was a negative rating we can give this company. It is true that they lie about the RAL. No you do not receive $1000. They trick you into believing this until you THINK you will get approved then send you tax paperwork and the agreement explainging the RAL Process. After totaling the fees IF I did get approved, I would have only received $600. Then aftewards, they automatically file your taxes ahead of time for you using your last check stubs if you don't have your w-2's at the time. This put me in a bind because my taxes were not calculated correctly so now I am waiting on an amended return that is going to take 3 months just to receive the rest of my money when it could have been done right the 1st time. Worst CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and when you ask to speak to a supervisor they get your number and I NEVER receive a call back. NEVER AGAIN and I will be reporting this company the IRS.

    Received a copy of my tax return and I have no issues. I have been w taxnet 4 years. My whole this is Why ppl get these RAL tax loans. The IRS is sending refund is a week or so just wait and save moeny and headache.I read complaints all from people who got deny :) sorry but it is a loan so if you got bad credit and aint pay bills what do you expect. Just wait the week and get your refund I never get the loan and I have never had a problem.

    Worst customer service ever! I was lied to about my funds! The guy told me I was approved for a loan then I never received it so therefore I contacted them & the supervisor told me I was denied which I knew was a lie they then charged me this unnecessary money to prepare my taxes when the supervisor told me they were not going to do so. I would never refer anyone to them. They were not honest with me & didn't not replace my funds & put me in a financial hardship knowing that I have children

    First year client, and I will be back next year! I had a great experience with TaxNet. After receiving approval of a RAL, I was told that it will take up to 12 hours for funds to be disbursed and deposited into my account. Everything happened accordingly, and now everything is complete. The associates are competent and helpful individuals. Great service!

    I was approved for the refund anticipation loan.. The next day got an adverse denial. They are a rip off. I wouldnt recommend this business to nobody.

    WARNING......DO NOT USE. I foolishly sent my drivers license, childrens social security numbers along with my banking information on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014. After not hearing from anyone I called Taxnet Monday to get a status and was informed that my info had not been received and once it was "found" the supervisor Sid Shaw will call me that same day. No call from him so I called Tues. and was told that my info was still not found. I ask to speak witj Sid Shaw and eas told that he was too busy to look for my information and that my accountmhad been flagged due to excessive calls. I have yet to receive any kind of written information from TAXNET about my status. Now I have to close my checking account info and get my ss#'s for my children flagged because of this and still do not know what happen to my documents. Unless you want to worry about your information floating around India do not use this company. They are a SCAM. THE other reviews are obviously from TAXNET employees.

    I had a good experience with Taxnet last year. I had to apologize because I was worried at first after I sent them my information but my money was in my account the on time for holidays and then I got my tax refund too. I recommend this as a good option if you need it quick. I just received a letter today that I'm eligible again this year. I called loans doesn't begin until December for Xmas. I really need it this year for my kids gifts :) I was searching and this was the only legitimate company i found so i hope this helps.

    First company that gives a loan in cash without a credit check issue. Me and I referred a friend and we both approved. I am so done with HR Block emerald they lied to me last year making H&R were not still offering a loan and after checking my credit report without my permission she told me I was denied because of my score. I never had problems before so I was upset then I found out H&R are not even offering tax loans anymore. I called the H&R Block corporate office and they told me they only offer RACs not RALs a big difference. I am satisfied there is an option for holiday loans I don't mind paying the extra $50 so thats why i posted this.

    I called for a refund anticipation loan in December and had everything they asked for but still was not approved until end of December. Charge me full price $ but I am military and refunded me the difference. The tax person told me I get a discount but when I got the bill I had to call twice but overall they are good. The customer servie coold do better. I will use again

    Please help:
    This company submitted a return that I still have never seen or signed. I requested a refund anticipation loan which they pretty much made it sound like it was a guarantee. I asked if I would be able to say yes or no after I found out how much the fees for tax preparation were because he had stated that it depended on how complicated my return was so they could not tell me how much it would be. Then I was denied the RAL and no other communication given after I canceled all services, this was on Jan 3rd. Then on the 27th, I received an email stating that the IRS had accepted my return. WHAT!! I CANCELLED AND HAVE NOT SEEN MY RETURN. I was still waiting on my 1099-R's (5 in total. I feel I have been scammed and I believe that I am not the only one. These people need to be stopped. They should receive NO STARS...
