Introduction: We provide a "labor only" service. We do not provide vehicles for moving. Most assignments are completed within a few hours, and some may take a little longer. We suggest you have everything packed, wrapped and ready to be loaded to keep cost effective. We have appliance / furniture dollies, hand trucks and some tools for assembly/disassembly work. Always Plan in Advance! We operate on a "first booked" basis (2 hours minimum) Additional hour(s) are prorated by sixty (60) minutes Minimum deposit (hourly rate) / prepay (flat rate) required • Absolutely no local travel / vehicle charges or additional fees for last minute calls Minimum Deposit Required or WE WILL NOT SHOW! We are extremely wary of distant buyers responding to our ad! We have received replies from scammers hoping to defraud us through schemes involving (counterfeit) cashier's checks and/or wire transfers. Fake cashier's checks often clear funds, but banks hold Recession Movers™ responsible for cashing the check when the fraud is discovered.

Terrible. They were super late, almost two hours. They were talking on their phones, 0 professionals. They didn't have good manners. I will never recommend this place again.

Jonathon W - Chicago. The move was great. I needed to move an Endurance E300 elliptical trainer down 1 flight of stairs in my home (3rd floor to 2nd floor). The elliptical fit through the doorway, with the door removed, but is very heavy. Due to the turn, partial dis-assembly was required. I was able to get a set price that was fair for the amount of work required. I would certainly use this service again if needed.
