Easily accessible and easy to book. He was ready for me when I arrived. Very friendly. Great hands with good pressure. Checked with me several times during the massage to verify pressure and comfort.
Simply fantastic. I cannot say enough great things about Chitown Trainer. I hired Konrad Koczwara of Chitown Trainer to be my personal trainer to help me get back into peak shape via strength training. I wanted to train in the mornings during the week at my gym and without hesitation, he's made it happen. I wanted a meal plan customized for me. He made that happen. I wanted to incorporate my girlfriend into workouts when she's available. He made that happen. Training prices are lower than the average and everything is completely customized to YOUR lifestyle. I was hesitant to spend money on a personal training but I am so happy that I pulled the trigger and did it. If you need fitness help? Chitown Trainer is your place. I'm excited for my workout tomorrow morning already!
Sarah, is an excellent Massage Therapist. I have 2 sections of my spine fused and 4 herniated disks; Sarah worked my problem areas, and a full body massage in this session. She has a feness technique that most Massage Therapists dont have.
If you are looking for a top-notch best in class, affordable massage, look no further than KBJ Bodyworks! Professional yet personable, Jeannie will make you feel right at home from the moment you walk into her massage studio. I found Jeannie a handful of years ago after my massage therapist left one of the chains and there was no one else left who provided a quality massage. I have massive stress in my neck, arms, and shoulders from sitting at a computer all day and Jeannie always knows the best technique to melt away the stress. I always feel 1000% better when I leave, and the best part is even when she uses deep tissue to break up the muscle, I never have the achy hurt the next morning (unlike some massage therapists who have actually caused a migraine from their technique). I highly recommend Jeannie; you will not be disappointed!
It is the best massage I ever had. I work with computer and has a lot of tension in my neck, upper back and shoulder blades. The deep tissue massage really helped relax my muscles. The therapist knows where to tackle the problemaric area, and the focal points. She is very professional, very nice, the whole experience is very relaxing, and refreshing. I definitely give a 5 stars of her service. Definitely will come back.
Patrick gave me a great massage! He is very skilled at trigger point work for the legs. My legs were very sore before I saw him due to working out and felt much better after. Also Patrick's draping was very professional, so I felt comfortable for my full body massage.
Yosef made me a believer in acupuncture. He also offers excellent suggestions on healthy lifestyle changes. I highly recommend acupuncture as an alternative to traditional medicine. And I highly recommend Yosef as one of the best Acupuncturists in Oak Park.
Over the past 30 years, I have worked with many different massage therapists. Shirley is absolutely one of the best. She was able to alleviate my chronic arthritic/stress neck and shoulder pain. She was also very sensitive to my physical needs and boundaries. In addition, she has amazing intuition and skill when it comes to locating the "trouble spots." Shirley is a delight to work with. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She has wonderful energy and is both extremely personable and professional. If you want the best, look no further. :)
Sharon is amazing! I've suffered from chronic tension headaches and back pain for years and her knowledge and skill level have alleviated both. Along with being an talented therapist, she is both professional and prompt. Finding a good massage therapist is nearly impossible and I must say she is miracle worker that accommodates my hectic schedule.
Very good deep tissue massage. I had a lot of upper back/neck (from stress) and left front shoulder (from working out) pain. I usually just do trigger point myself using a foam roller and lacrosse ball but I decided to see Ellen. I've been to other "deep tissue" massage places before but this was much closer to the trigger point I was looking for. Pros: - Took her time with the massage, not rushed. - Good pressure (I like a lot of pressure) - Friendly - Relaxing environment - Goes with the flow. ie, she was quiet when I wanted to just enjoy the massage and she carried a conversation when I started asking questions.
Excellent therapist with a lot of knowledge. This is not a "spa" environment but you will get the best massage for your body!
I've been getting massages at Sacred Therapy Spa for about 3 years now and I'm here for life. Marguerite is extremely professional and skilled at her craft. She gives a wonderful and relaxing massage. I recently had a foot sugar scrub. My feet were so soft and smooth afterwards and the awesome fragrance lingered. I also had an ear candling. It's a natural way of removing ear wax. The entire process was relaxing and I didn't feel a thing. My sinuses felt clearer and water from shampooing my hair the night before was also removed. By the next day there was a noticeable change in my hearing. Suprisingly, I could hear a lot better than before. I also had a Zyto Compass Scan. This is a process of reading feedback from your body by placing your hand on a scanning unit. It's really cool and it works! The results are amazing! The scan identifies issues and recommends natural supplements to correct them. My reading was right on point! I highly recommend Marguerite and Sacred Therapy Spa!!! You'll be glad you went!!! #lovemymassagetherapist #sacredtherapyrocks
Lynn really has a great touch. She is a skilled therapist who can find issue areas and knows how to work her magic to fix the problem. I would recommend her to anyone who appreciates a fine massage.
Doug provides an excellent experience, his knowledge and trigger point massage are clearly above the rest. He is able to relieve deeper muscular issues with minimal pressure compared to previous deep tissues massages I've had. I would recommend him highly.
Alicia is very professional and knowledgeable. You can tell from the moment you walk in the room that she enjoys what she does and loves helping people. What she does for sciatica pain is almost magical, taking me from hobbling in pain to jumping for joy. She's an amazing therapist and a pleasure to be around. Keep her in your contact list under "Important People To Know", your body will thank you!
I have known Richard Sperry as a devoted and deeply grateful client. I found his services listed on the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals website when I was looking for a specialist in deep tissue work. He has proved himself to be utterly reliable, an excellent listener, honest, and an outstanding massage therapist. He cares greatly about healing clients. Richard demonstrates the qualities that are imperative to me in a massage therapist: attentiveness to what I want and need; total focus on delivering relief; communicating with me whether his treatment is effective; strength (especially thumbs), stamina, and a knowledge of anatomy. I have been a consumer of deep tissue massage, body work, trigger point for over 32 years. I have gone through four series of rolfing. As an athlete I crave deep tissue work to be able to continue to engage in the sports I enjoy. As someone who works on a laptop all day, I need help easing the tension in my upper back. Richard Sperry is without qualification the best massage therapist I have ever engaged. He is entirely professional and clearly loves his work. The fact that he communicates with me--that he asks and listens to what I want speaks to his maturity as a professional and his devotion to helping, truly healing, clients. Not only is he intuitive, he has ethic of a healer with the technique, strength, and desire to meet my needs. Richard is never late, adjusts on a dime to meet my scheduling needs, and has never disappointed. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a true professional with a versatile repertoire of techniques, from Swedish to deep tissue.
Julie provided me with a 60 minute massage. This is the best experience I've had and I have gotten regular massages for years! She made me feel comfortable and relaxed from the minute I arrived with her friendly, upbeat and professional demeanor. She used exactly the right pressure on me, which has always been an issue with my past Massage Therapists. As such, I am confident in her experience and knowledge because she knew exactly how to handle my body type without a word from me! This is what I've been searching for for years!! I left feeling refreshed, relaxed and pampered in a way that I've never experienced before. I have chosen her to be my go-to bi-weekly Massage Therapist from this point forward and I'm already telling everyone I know that they NEED to see her and stop wasting their time and money on anyone else, because in comparison to Julie, everyone else is a waste!!! Thank you so much, Julie!
Cheryl has an amazing ability to palpate tightness and trigger points and realizes the right amount of pressure to relieve the tension. As I am a physical therapist, I have high expectations, and she exceeded them! I will definitely be back, and would highly recommend Cheryl to anyone looking for a great massage therapist.

It is a complete approach. This includes the application of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy and Massage Therapy as an intervention into acute or chronic musculoskeletal pain. The next step is perhaps the most important, that is where I teach you to self treat your pain before it once again negatively impacts the quality of your life. In a world where sedentary lifestyles have become life threatening to athletes physically performing at a competitive level and everything in between we are constantly assaulting our bodies creating pain that negatively impacts our lives. The management of that pain is my goal. Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy is my vehicle to communicate with and resolve that pain.
