Homesick Blues Productions stepped in to do a last minute portrait photoshoot for our national mental health magazine. He worked quickly and provided us exactly what were looking for and then some. I would highly recommend their services for any personal or professional photo assignment.

I hired Ed, of Homesick Blues, to film a charity event in Chicago and to provide a highlight video and some other edited footage of the live music. Ed was on-time, courteous and a pleasure to work with. He captured great footage and stepped up to help edit even as we increased the scope of the project. Ed is professional, honest and hard working. If you care about someone being responsive, professional and detail orientated, I highly recommend him. -Steve

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our rates are $150/hour onsite, with photo editing included and $75/hour for video editing. Additional expenses may include music, parking, meals, or travel for locations outside Chicago. A smaller video shoot (1 interview + b-roll, or 90-minute event coverage) might require 3 hours of production and 4 hours of editing, for a cost of $750, for example.
