Introduction: I try to find out the couple's Love Story so I can tell it in the Wedding. I wish our minister had done that (35 years ago!) because it makes the ceremony come alive and fills the audience with joy. I led my daughters' weddings and I try to treat other couples as if they were my own children. I am friendly and I love getting to know and helping my clients. I give my work my whole heart. Travelling and seeing new places and responding to challenges such as recently when a couple's minister quit with one week to go. Helping couples to find a venue for their wedding when they have been unable to do so on their own. Praying about an outdoor Wedding's weather!

Mike was great. He was very approachable and a kind-hearted man...a man that you would be proud to have as a friend. Although we just met MIke, it seemed like we knew him for years! He made us feel very comfortable and was open and flexible with exactly how we wanted our service. His personal touches were a nice compliment to our ceremony.

Rev. Mike will be the officiant for my upcoming wedding in September 2013. I found Rev. Mike here on thumbtack. He responded very quickly to my service search and was easy to talk to right from the start. After my first conversation with Rev. Mike I knew the he would be the perfect fit for my fiance and me! He has continued to show a professional yet easy going demeanor and is a pleasure to work with. He has put me (the nervous and excited bride) at ease with planning the ceremony. As he would say - "Let me do the heavy lifting"! We have chosen to have a nontraditional ceremony where a divorced church going Catholic with three children is to wed a nondenominational Christian that keeps his spiritual beliefs very private. Rev. Mike has not only accepted our personal choices whole heartily, he has welcomed our ideas and visions. He has great suggestions and is more than ready to prepare our ceremony to meet our individual needs with a great balance of ease and excitement! Rev. Mike is a great choice for any couple of any religious denomination or for the couple that has no religious background. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for the perfect person to help bring their special day together. Mike officiated our weeding a couple of weeks ago in Downtown Chicago. The ceremony was fantastic. Mike did a great job of helping us put together the plan, and tailoring to our taste. He was very eloquent. He clearly has a lot of experience doing weddings. we enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommend his services.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are simple: for weekend weddings I only charge $400 and I will tell your Love Story for no extra charge. It is a full service Wedding for an affordable price. See my web site for more details.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did weddings during 23 years of ministry as a Senior Minister and I found it to be one of the most enjoyable parts of my work. When I retired it was natural to begin doing web based Marriage Minister work.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done many different types of Weddings- from high end work at Trump Towers to standing in wet, sinking sand beside the Illinois River, from our own living room to a back yard in my own neighborhood.
