I started following Mila Rascon's nutritional advice about 6 months ago and the results have been amazing. I've lost about 20 pounds from 195 to 175 but more importantly my health has improved. I'm a chron's disease patient so my blood work is monitored every 3 months. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I received my Holistic Health Practioner Certification from the School of Healing Arts, specializing in Whole Foods Nutrition, in San Diego, CA in 2003. I continued on to receive 2 more certifications as a yoga instructor from Integrative Yoga Therapy and Golden Bridge in Los Angeles.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?After a career in classical ballet, I experienced lingering back pain and aches from other injuries. Yoga not only helps me stay flexible and decrease pain and soreness it helps me make life choices and brings me peace of mind. Studying nutrition helped me find s love for food and health I hadn't experienced.
