A+ for Ben! I could tell immediately that he understood dog behavior and I certainly needed some additional help for handling my very excitable 40 # puppy. After having owned more than 5 dogs, I felt like a complete failure because I was at a loss as to how to handle the OVERLY EXCITABLE puppy. My purpose of getting a new dog was for exercise and companionship but it has been a challenge until Ben arrived. I like the fact that Ben can provide hands on training and can critique me as well as the dog. Providing another view point of what to do and when has been immensely valuable . Julie
Amy did a fantastic job with training our new puppy to be obedient and polite, and with training us on how to manage common puppy issues. She was extremely friendly, comfortable, and easy to work with, and she listened to exactly what we wanted to work on. She molded the training sessions to meet our goals, and to fit our puppy's personality. We were mainly working on teaching our dog manners and the basic commands (sit, stay, come, down, etc.), and Amy not only taught him how to obey the commands, but she gave us a number of tips on how to continue our training when she wasn't around. She also gave us her number so that we could call or text with any issues that may arise. We are very satisfied with our dog's behavior since the training, and are very happy that we decided to give Amy a call! The personalized, one-on-one training with Amy was exactly what we were looking for, and the cost was extremely reasonable considering what I've seen elsewhere. We will definitely be recommending Amy to any of our friends/family looking for training, and will be reaching out to Amy again if we run into any issues in the future!
I highly recamend them . They treat all the animals as there own .
I was at the point of desperation due to severe separation anxiety with my 9-mo old puppy that I had just adopted after being rescued from an extreme hoarder situation. She had already been returned once to the Shelter for getting over a chain link fence and need to be crated. She experienced severe anxiety reaction with my attempts to crate her - became hysterical and broke out of the create and then chewed door/doorframe and pulled carpeting up when I tried to confine her in a room. Obviously I have to be able to leave home knowing that she and the house are safe or I can't keep her - and I had already fallen in love with her and know if she is returned again she would probably be deemed unadoptable and euthanized. Sully responded promptly via email and then by phone, and she was very confident that she could address these issues and came out within hours of our conversation. I was amazed at what she was able to accomplish in the 3 hrs or more that she was here. She is all business - firm yet gentle, and she had my girl listening and obeying commands in no time, and was even able to get her to "kennel up" (walk into the crate on a leash) and remain calm for short periods of time, which is a good start. She left me very thorough written instructions (our homework) and invited me to email or call her with any further questions or issues. She made excellent suggestions of other things I could do to socialize her more and build her confidence away from me, so that I feel more hopeful. It is going to take a lot of patience and work, but I feel that I have the tools to start making progress. I also bought the special training collar that she makes - all the girls at the vet office today thought it was so cool and that they have never seen one like that. After I have worked on our homework more, I plan to have Sully back out 1-2 more times to build on what we have started. I would highly recommend her. She does not coddle the pets, but praises them for good work and they respond to that with respect. Her primary goal is to keep animals from being turned back to Shelters because of behavioral issues. In addition, I really liked her as a person and as a very strong, independent woman.
Danielle is the first dog trainer we have talked to who is genuinely focused on helping improve our dog's behavior. You can yell it is her passion! The others we spoke with were pushing expensive training packages and were focused on the money. I would highly recommend Danielle.
We had tried a couple of different training programs with my dog before we found Casey, and wow, what a difference! Other programs were okay when it comes to basic obedience but were merely adequate. Unlike other programs that teach you and your dog the basics and then end, Casey's classes lay the foundation for obedience and then go beyond, proofing and reinforcing the behavior so that your dog will listen every time, no matter what distractions are around. The classes are fun and they are a great way to bond with your dog! And after spending hundreds of dollars on a few months of "good enough" training we were ecstatic to find that we could pay one fee and have training for the rest of my dog's life. We love the difference we've seen in our dog and the new confidence he has. He is a happier, more well-adjusted dog and we can't go out of the house without someone commenting on how well behaved he is. Every dog with get will be taken to Casey for training, we are now customers for life!
Roxanne has a number of techniques for the dog training. She listens to what you want the dog to do and then forms a plan to get the dog to change his behavior. She did mostly positive reinforcements but she was not afraid to suggest negative reinforcements if that's what is needed. Fortunately our dog responded well with positive reinforcemenfs
My dog was dog reactive on his leash, and is deceptively muscular with a deep hunting instinct. I knew I needed someone who could handle a strong and sometimes unpredictable dog. Combined with having a stranger come to my house when I was at work to get him to walk, I knew I also needed an experienced dog handler, preferably someone with a behavioral background. Paddy is just what Clark needs in terms of understanding his behavior (and being able to handle him) and I can tell from the photos she sends how much he enjoys the walks. I feel confident that Paddy is someone I can trust to give my dog the midday break he needs. If you have a large or reactive dog that you aren’t sure someone other than you could walk, I would definitely recommend Paddy. She has the skill set and the personality to connect with your pooch.
Lauren is the dog whisperer! I've had the pleasure of having her work with my dogs as a trainer and a pet sitter. I has to go out of town and needed a pet sitter for my previous dog that suffered from cancer and needed extra accommodations. Lauren came and spent the night with her and gave me updates throughout the evening and next day until I came home. She is so loving and caring for animals. It felt great to be able to trust her with my baby. My pup lost her battle with cancer. My husband and I got a new puppy and we had Lauren come out and train her. We were amazed at what Lauren taught our dog to do within 5 minutes! She was able to sit, high five, lay down, and stay! Amazing! I highly recommend Lauren for pet sitting and training! Thank you Trinity Tails!
Iris is amazing! She loves animals and seems to treat each and everyone like her own pet. When she sits for my 2 cats, she always shows up with a toy for them. She also takes care of me-makes sure I don’t have to worry while I’m away. She sends a text as well as pictures while she is with them. If you use Iris as your pet nanny, your animal will be very well cared for!
She does an excellent job with animals
Rod assisted me in deciding what type of dog I needed, over the phone, without even knowing me. He was very knowledgable about German Shepherds and their behaviors. Thank you Rod, I plan to train at your place!
Nancy has a real love for animals which makes her an excellent choice as a pet sitter. I highly recommend her to anyone needing pet sitting services.
We have come to really rely on this great service. We have a very high energy dog and it is simply difficult to find the time to give her all the exercise she needs to be a happy puppy. With Walks In The Parks, Maybelle doesn't get a mere walk--she gets run-around-like-a-wild-animal time with other dogs. (As a side benefit--this has made her much more comfortable with other dogs. She used to be very fearful of them, and a bad experience at our local dog park did not help. Now she is not fearful with new dogs AND she loves the dogs she plays with regularly. This company is owned by an experienced dog trainer--Paddy--and she seems to be really good at preventing conflict between dogs.) She is always SO excited to be picked up by Rick and Paddy and comes back with the dumbest happiest look on her face, it's really cute. Now, we have some friends who rely on doggie daycare to get their dogs the play and exercise they need. I think that's a great option if you're away all day long every day during the work week. But of course with doggie daycare you are dropping off and picking up each day, which adds a significant amount of time to your commute. This service is great because it comes with drop off and pick up. At this point we have worked with Rick and Paddy for so long that they have keys to our house and they can get her and drop her off even when we're not home. Of course we would not be comfortable letting our little girl go off on such outings if we didn't know how much Rick and Paddy care for her! They love dogs and they love Maybelle. (A final side benefit--regular photographic updates of Maybelle showing a fierce side of herself, at play, that we've never seen!)
