Introduction: I have been working with animals for over 20 years. Whale Tail Pet is a one stop shop for day care, pet sitting, dog training and many more pet inclusive services. We do not offer grooming however we do outsource to a wonderful woman right down the road. We are committed to making long lasting relationships with your pets as well as with you. All board and train programs come with 6 follow up lessons in your home. Prices for IN HOME PET SITTING vary based upon distance. Rates start at $65 per day. Ask about our POTTY TRAINING BOOT CAMP 🐕💩 AND COVID puppy SCHOOL 🐕😷 We offer 5% discounts to customers who prepay for services on the day of booking.💰 Although we love visitors, we are not currently allowing walk throughs. Visitors are not always vigilant at keeping the doors and gates closed. This is for the safety of all the dogs as some have 0 recall when they arrive.⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ No Call No Show we keep your deposit! 💸

I sent two sweet but stubborn-to-train shih tzus to be potty trained. They are otherwise amazingly good dogs but I had a hard time getting them 100% there. After their time with Whale Tail, they came back so well-behaved! They are not only potty trained (yay!) but they worked on things I hadn't been consistent with. They are now crate-trained, stick to a schedule for eating, and are even more teachable with other commands. They really only knew how to sit as a command before but now they are easier to get to do Come, Stay, and I am even encouraged to see if they will do Paw to say hello. I love my dogs and I thought they were perfect, but I am so glad they spent time with Whale Tail because they are now perfect ~gentlemen~. Because of the unusually rainy weather during their original training time, they needed more days with Whale Tail to work on practicing going potty outside and this did not cost me additional fees. I think this is important to share because you pay for the training, not an arbitrary schedule. Not all dogs learn at the same rate! She also took them to be groomed after a few muddy, rainy days to keep them looking and feeling their best. I received daily texts and photos and videos and could tell how much fun the pups were having throughout. It made such a difference to be able to share the information with the trainer in real time. The dogs are trained in a home and enjoy the company of a family, so it feels like "real life". I think this has been the key to the success with my dogs in particular since they are a companion breed and not hunting or sporting dogs. We are looking forward to our follow-up visits so the pups can show how much they enjoyed their lessons! Thank you so much, Whale Tail, for your patience and time!

When I first got my puppy, he wouldn’t pee outside if our lives depended on it. Once I got him back from Diana, he was so much better. Continuing his training has been a breeze since then and has really saved me. Diana is also really responsive. She sent me many pictures, videos and text updates throughout his training (never even had to ask, she proactively did it!) She’s also been available for questions and help after our boarding training. I feel like she truly cares for my puppy - she will randomly check in and ask how he’s doing and provide good feedback based on what’s going on at the moment. Aside from training, I also boarded my pup with her for a few days for a work trip. I’d like to continue to in the future despite it being quite a drive for me because I know her and her family care for Chip the way I do.

This was hands down the best experience. Whale Tail was responsive, attentive, and made everything a breeze. You can tell they really care about your animals. Absolutely will use their services again, 10/10!!!!!!!
