Latest Review: Al is always on time and always come with a positive attitude. He is helping our son to “shape” his piano skills making him work on pieces that challenge him. I like that Al doesn’t make my son feel bad about his mistakes and encourages him to put his personal touch in what he plays. I really recomend Al as a piano teacher.

Latest Review: I took lessons through Mclain's mind of music for one reason; to learn how to play "Green Hill Zone" on Piano. Thanks to Kevin, I can say that I accomplished that goal (granted, 2 years after he left but you get the idea.) Because Kevin was my teacher, I've moved on to learning a couple other songs as well (although I could always practice more than I do.) When Kevin was giving lessons in Chicagoland he was the most affordable piano lessons, regardless of if it was hourly or half-hour (short of having a piano whiz for a grandparent who would teach you for free, which I do not.) Improve, I guess a couple times he was 5 or 10 minutes late for the appointment, but that's only because he would DRIVE OUT to the kid's house and be stuck in traffic on the way back (which is totally understandable, considering what an excellent musician Kevin is.) If you take one lesson, you'll feel the same. Young or Old, Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced Kevin can teach you how to play.

About: I am a private instructor on several instruments as well as a performing solo guitarist, singer songwriter who often performs in duos, trios and bands. TEACHING I specialize in acoustic guitar music, solo instrumental guitar and also teach beginning piano, electric bass, ukelele, and some electric guitar styles. I received my BFA - Guitar Performance from UW-Milwaukee and WI Conservatory of Music. Becoming a musician is a process that anyone can follow. Whether you want to better understand music in theory, learn a particular song or even just focus on a key phrase or lick, I can lead you through the steps to developing musical skill and ability. I'll also make the process enjoyable and fun. I offer weekly and on-call lessons in my studio. I can also make arrangements to teach you in your home, within a ten-mile radius of HeadStock Music or on days that I'm performing in your area. Lessons are also available online through Skype. PERFORMANCE While at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music I specialized in American fingerstyle guitar. I play solo guitar pieces, commonly referred to as classical guitar, however I play on a steel string acoustic and the music is a mix of American music styles: folk, jazz, rock, blues and country. My strongest instrument has always been my voice and I initially studied guitar to be better accompany myself. I enjoy songs from blues, folk, rock, country and jazz styles. I am also a writer and enjoy singing my own songs in a concert/ house concert settings. In most background situations I favor familiar popular songs from multiple eras with a few originals thrown into the mix. Currently, I play solo under my own name, and in The Mugs; a blues folk trio with guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Occasionally I sing in a folk harmony duo called the Sugar Daddies but mainly I'm out doing a hundred plus solo guitar and song performances a year. I've also done some side projects in a Replacements cover band and an Eagles cover band. Visit my website to hear musical samples.

Latest Review: I’m not writing reviews as usual, but Rimma and her Cleanton are exceptional! Outstanding service. First of all the attitude that she gave to me felt like she cares so much personally about each individual customer. I just gave a birth to my beautiful baby and me and my husband REALLY wanted our house be clean and hygienic, all moms will understand me perfectly clear;) First she discussed all small details about what and where should be cleaned and with what products I would prefer it to be cleaned, as she really understood the whole importance! Second, I wouldn’t say that our house was really dirty, but being pregnant -it’s really hard to keep it neat, but anyways, after she did her job - I realized that it was a MESS, lol. I thought - so that’s how my house actually can look like:) And it’s really easy to agree on the time with her! Long story short - I’m gonna be using Cleanton services from now on on a monthly bases. Thank you, darling!

Latest Review: Allison Cannon is not only a decided musician, but she is also passionate about teaching others. I've known Allison for eight years now and have heard her skill level advance with each passing year. She is hands down one of the most talented musicians I know for her age, and quite frankly most anywhere. She has done a multitude of performances and comes highly recommended by a well renown director, Patrick Henning. If you have the opportunity to work with this shinning-young, talented musician take everything you can in! She will teach you the skill you wish to have from the skill that still surpasses most well known artists.
