Price to repair kept escalating so finally decided to buy a new computer.Feb 19, 2016VerifiedStriker Technologies's reply
Price went up one time. While I was trying to install the OS, the ATI chipset died, the computer wasn't even apart at that point. Replacing the Chipset would not have been expensive, but the charging circuit also died shortly after, rendering the board unusable. First time I've seen that happen during a simple task. The machine was worth investing in my opinion, but I wasn't the owner, therefore I had to accept his decision to decline repairs.
Excellent service. Michael's ability to accommodate my unorthodox work schedule really helped. He was able to get back to me the same day I dropped my computer off for repairs that he was able to recover my data I thought I lost. His rates were very fair and reasonable. He was also able to explain what went wrong and why and what he did to fix it. I would strongly recommend him for any future computer repairs.Apr 29, 2016Verified
I have finally found my permanent IT guy. The owner Michael not only repaired my computer (new screen and bezels) but also installed Windows 10 and gave it a complete "tune up" in a just a few days! My Toshiba now looks factory new and has never run better. Very reasonable prices. Outstanding job!!! Jim Des PlainesDec 3, 2015Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I typically give new customers 10% off my normal pricing, When they give me a machine for one problem, I check the whole machine for other issues. I want to make sure their machine runs as long as humanly possible. Buying a new machine isn't always the answer. By coming here we will maximize the machine's fullest potential. We aren't the cheapest, but we are the best!
