What a great photographer, such a professional & fine gentleman to work with, especially pictures that tell's a story for a lifetime. I had a surprise 60th b'day for my husband and living all the way in NYC coming to Naples FL not knowing anything about Jim. The minute I met him I knew he was going to do an outstanding job on my pictures and sure enough he did an amazing job...Nov 9, 2017Verified
Jim was all of the above qualities. In addition we had to change from an outside shoot to an inside one. He had all the lighting equipment on hand and with a quick move of furniture we were ready to go. Great Job JimJul 7, 2017
We liked Jim very much and appreciated his service. We have seen the 'proofs' and are pleased.Apr 16, 2017Verified
Started off a little rocky as Jim was late arriving for beginning of event which was a 100th birthday party celebration. Although he took a bunch of photos very few were suitable for album selection. Fortunately I orchestrated group photos of the event with Jim and that turned out fine , but candid shots he took left much to be desired. A disappointing experience on a memorable milestone celebration day.Oct 31, 2016Verified
Jim was flexible with our chaotic, large family group and was easy to deal with as folks ordered printsJun 18, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Yes it is based on cost vs market pricing; trying to stay under the market while maintaining profitability.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Generally potential customers request a quote and I try to put together a session and a few small prints to accommodate said request. Hopefully my quote is lower than anticipated so I have a chance to speak directly with the client - addressing dates, times, location and advice regarding shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Began professional photography in 1970, taking photos of products the ad agency I was working for needed for marketing materials and national ads. Continued photography in my own business founded in 1972. My company began as a boutique studio and print firm. I sold all the printing equipment by 1983 and was offering brokered printing but the work done in-house was 100% pre-press. In 1991 I began study with Kodak in Billerika, MA through an extension at MIT in the study of color and light which totally went along with photography and color separation.
