SUBSTRATE was amazing to work with……Adrian was full of knowledge and he was very easy to work with as well as very nice and that was extremely helpful because I have a very busy schedule. After meeting with him a couple of times I felt comfortable enough to leave him at my home while I worked during the day. Adrian came out to give me an estimate and he was so patient while answering all of my questions. His work is very meticulous and also neat with his work and he makes sure you agree with whatever he does before doing it. I am very very pleased with my basement floor and I would definitely recommend SUBSTRATE!!

Tell the truth. Become a member of the better business bureau. Get insured, licensed, and bonded.
Asked if his company was insured. He said it was. He pushed to have his contract signed. He stated he needed a signed contract so he could lock in a work start date and time. When he brought the contract it did not show any liability insurance, license, or bond. We checked further and there were numerous complaints against him. The better business bureau stated numerous complaints were received. Stated they thought the company was no longer in business. I told him we wanted to cancel on the same day and time he. I had just signed the contract 5 minutes earlier. He said to tear up the contract I signed. I did so in front of him. The next day he emailed me a notice to collect a 25% cancelation fee.
I questioned the cancellation fee language before I signed the contract. He stated that it was only for big jobs and/or commercial jobs.
I will not pay.
