This review was posted by a disgruntled wedding photographer in Lake Geneva, WI, who hired me to do a short drone video of a wedding she was photographing. I drove the 75 miles to the Grand Geneva Resort - set up the drone and was fully prepared - when we were was advised that The Grand Geneva prohibited any drone operations. Furthermore - the contract between the bridal party and the Grand Geneva specifically banned the use of drones. So the photographer apologized for not getting permission for the drone operation - and said we could not proceed. It seemed a mute point - as it began raining when the ceremony was about to begin - so the ceremony was to be moved inside. I waited in the area for over an hour thinking the rain might stop - then proceeded to drive another 75 miles back home. It was getting dark. This disgruntled wedding photographer is simply looking for a scapegoat - I did everything reasonable to get the job done.
Robert was great to work with. Very professional and knowledgable (and great equipment - best I've seen in my experience having pictures done). I just had my pictures done so I haven't received all of them yet, however, he did send over one edited right away. I was extremely happy! Very excited to see the rest. I would highly recommend hiring Robert.May 28, 2018Verified
I had a great experience working with Robert for professional head shots. We shot a wide variety of poses/backgrounds and I received my photos VERY quickly! I would recommend Robert to anyone looking for head shots.Jun 19, 2017Verified

Robert was very understanding of the unique needs for our shoot (dance studio) and really helped us deliver the product our customers have come to expect. He worked with our budget and was very responsive to special requests. Highly recommend!May 31, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Communications with a new client as to what they are looking for in photography. For example, in doing graduation portraits, what the young graduate wants may be very different (more edgy?) from what the parents want. So I need to cover all the bases in the shoot.
- What types of customers have you worked with? All kinds. From large corporations (Jack Daniels , Northern Trust, Chicago Archdiocese for example) to children, professional head shots, model composites, - and fine art buyers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? There was a time not long ago when I would encourage clients - particularly aspiring models/ actors/ and even business professionals - to hire a makeup artist (MUA) for a shoot. No more. I now employ state of the art software applications in my "post production" process to create the same effects achieved by a professional MUA. And this process can be dialed up or down to provide the client's preferred level of image enhancement.
