- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For TV repair I charge a 40.00 service fee to check the tv and if it is fixable then I charge 100.00 plus cost of the replacement part. For Antennas and materials to install for an outside antenna usually runs for all the hardware about 150.00 and the labor , depending in height of the house can be from 200 to 300 in total cost it usually doesn't run more that this unless a lot of cable has to be run to new spots in the house. this will add 75.00 per cable run which is lower that the industry standard of 125.00 per run
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
TVs. repairs are done on site after diagnostic has been made. I have the client or myself order the proper replacement part. Then I come back and install it. Too many models of TVs cant stock replacement parts.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a systems analyst for a large corporation and Now I have my own company after I took early retirement due to my wife having cancer. (She died in 2005) Ive had an interest in electronic hardware all my life and apprenticed for TV repair just out of High school. right before I went to college
