Introduction: Hello!! My name is Rich Ford and welcome to FordFitness1! In my 8-year career, I've helped dozens of people change their lives for the better, whether losing weight, gaining muscle, or motivating clients to be their best! But first, let me share my story... I started out in fitness growing up in the Chicago area as an athlete in high school playing football and running track, and then later as a college basketball player. Although I was already lifting weights to stay conditioned for sports, it wasn't until the summer of 2000 when I really developed a passion for lifting weights through an interest in bodybuilding. I spent 3 months studying all I could on exercise, nutrition, and the body. By applying the concepts and skills I learned, I was able to go from a skinny 20-year old to adding 12 pounds of muscle by the end of summer of 2000. Since then, I've been asked by all types of people on how to change their bodies, and with my love to help others, became an A.C.E. Certified personal trainer in 2006. I've trained people of all backgrounds and fitness levels, from sports teams to child classes to semi-pro athletes, seniors, and soccer moms! In addition to Personal Training, I am a Certified Golf Conditioning and Injury Prevention Specialist, and currently finishing my studies to become a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Level 1 Crossfit Coach, and do offer services in body weight training, TRX, Kettlebell, Crossfit, and Fitness Boxing. In August of 2015, I was honored with, "#1 Personal Trainer/Boot Camp Instructor in Indianapolis" on Thumbtack's "Best of 2015" List. My prices are reasonable and I can customize a training package for your weekly schedule and budget. My knowledge and passion of all aspects of fitness has helped clients reach their goals of adding muscle, losing weight, getting ready for 'bikini season', and more! If your a person who likes more privacy, I offer in-home training or training at a facility of your choice, or corporate wellness training. My group training program, Boot Camp Challenge-Indy, has helped dozens of private clients and corporate employees stay fit, lose inches and pounds, and promoted team-building amongst employees. I have had the opportunity to work with Rich for the last couple of months! I honestly would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a personal trainer! He is very interested in learning your goals, and will take them into consideration with each workout! He is incredibly knowledgeable in his muscle groups and knows how to work different muscles with each exercise!

Rich was an awesome trainer! Not only was he accommodating and convenient by coming to my home, but he kept me motivated to my fitness and health goals! I was very sad when Rich moved to Indianapolis, but he was a great trainer who helped me change my lifestyle! You're sure to get a great workout with Rich, and he loves to offer variety! I did everything from training outside to boxing! I was very happy with my results, and have been able to maintain my weight loss! I would recommend Rich to anyone!

Rich is an excellent trainer! Although I initially trained with him one-on-one for a few sessions at a fitness club, the majority of my training stemmed from participation in his 6 week boot camps. I didn't think he'd be able to work with me because of all the physical limitations I had, but he adjusted the tensity of the training to suit my individual needs. He never once made me feel like it was a chore to work with me - which was very important and impressive to a person like me who think she's "untrainable" - nor did he make me feel like I was less of a participant because I couldn't keep up with the rest of the class. He was extremely patient, very sincere, hardworking and always exhibited a positive and encouraging demeanor - all of the characteristics you'd look for and want in a true and serious personal trainer. There's no other like RIch Ford!

A friend and I have been partner training with Rich for a bit over a month now (twice a week) and he has been an OUTSTANDING trainer! Very patient with all of our aches and pains which come from all of the great workout's that he tailors to our needs and fitness levels. Rich mixes it up and never makes us do the same workout twice in a row, it is great and alleviates boredom. The workout's are fun and as intense as you want them to be. Rich is motivational without yelling in your face and he is very informative and knowledgeable. It's been a great month!!

Awesome first time experience with a personal trainer! Provided a good variety of workouts with each session. Never felt like I ever did the same exercise. Really up beat personality and motivating. Also, always on time.
