Lessons are fun yet challenging. My husband has no prior dance experience but I am a former dancer - both of us are having fun, learning so much and getting better every lesson! Aleks is an excellent teacher and I would highly recommend North Shore Dance lessons to anyone.

My fiancée and I loved Anna as our dance teacher. We would definitely recommend her to anyone who is trying to learn how to ballroom dance for fun or for their wedding. We took a class on ballroom dancing five years ago when we were freshman in college. We had not taken a dance lesson since then so we pretty much forgot everything. Anna was extremely patient with us and broke down the dance steps so it was easy for us to learn. She took our first dance song which was Still Fallin’ by Hunter Hayes and turned it into a beautiful first dance for us. She made our first dance dreams come true!  We took many dance lessons and plan to continue after our wedding. When you take dance lessons you may attend the complimentary dance parties they have once a month which are super fun. Awesome studio, dance lessons, and teacher. Definitely recommend!!

My fiance and I at the time bought a living social dance lessons package at an awesome price that helped kick start our dance lessons. Steve (the owner) was fantastic, knowledgeable, and personable. We received individual dance lessons and Steve took us through all the different dances we could possibly do or want to do and from there he listened to our first dance song and we narrowed down what dance we wanted/could do for our wedding dance. After our living social package lessons were up my fiance and I were so impressed and pleased that we ended up buying their Bronze package for 15 additional lessons! These lessons took us more in depth within our first wedding dance (which turned out to be a Viennese Waltz). Each lesson lasted one hour and after each lesson we felt we had learned more and gotten better and more knowledgeable ourselves about dancing. When our wedding came we slam dunked our first dance and still our guests say that was the biggest surprise of our wedding (because we didn't tell anybody we were taking dance lessons) and that they had never seen a better first dance. My husband and I felt at ease after having our dancing lessons and more confident about dancing in general. The instructors really go at your pace and give examples, feedback, and make it fun! I have watched our first wedding dance about 50 times and still smile and feel proud at the end of it. What made this experience even better was how proud, enthusiastic, and excited Steve was about our first dance as well. Now that our wedding is over my husband and I are still going back to dance lessons and are excited to learn other dances and show those off to our friends and family as well. After researching all different dance studios that provide first wedding dance lessons, this was by far the best! I have loved every minute of it and would do it again in a heartbeat!!! I would recommend "Get on the Floor Dance Company" to anyone I talked to!!! After all, they truly did make me feel like Cinderella at my wedding during our first dance! We twirled around and I was on top of the world!!!

Pamm was an excellent teacher. She was very friendly and helped us to feel comfortable when neither of us were very good at dancing. She also came up with a simple but beautiful first dance for our wedding. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend her!

I've taken lessons with Olga, both private and a group body movement class called "ballroom body", for over a year. She is a great teacher, gifted dancer, and clearly communicates technical details of movement. Her ballroom body class is very creative and fun as well. She has great energy, fun personality, is patient and very warm hearted, and just great to be around. I give very high recommendation!
