I needed a top notch designer who could design a luxury 1 bedroom apartment into a zen and modern vibe under a tight budget. Roopa impressed me from the beginning by researching possible layouts from the get go - before I even hired her. Her willingness to go the extra mile helped us procure great designer furniture at discounted prices.Within 24 hours, I received a 3D rendering of the layout. With 48 hours, I had a list of furniture items in PPT format with a short description of why it was necessary. All I had to do was go and order from the shopping list provided. She followed up with suppliers, and her attention to detail was evident by her custom recommendations for certain accessories. We ended up adding a high powered telescope and lounge chairs for the balcony over looking the river. Roopa is very professional. She works relentlessly, is very punctual, and very insightful. She was willing to work with my budget and give me extra time to make it all come together. You can bet that I will go to the ZenDen master in the future. One thing that could have been improved would have been communication on project management. Roopa is an A+ designer with an eye for an effortless look. On the execution part and furnishing, she had to leave before the unit was finished. Although part of it was my responsibility to ensure the material arrived beforehand, my hope was that she would have her own crew to help furnish the unit rather than rely on my ability to find outside help - once again, I should have communicated that clearly. Finally, we had a dining set that did not work out, and a few extra accessories that were left over. Although floor plans are deceptive, and Roopa could not view the unit physically, that was unfortunately ~$300 of furniture left unused -. This was our first unit together, so the process was intense and required more time than one would expect - but nothing out of the ordinary for our first project. Her ability as a designer and professionalism make me confident that she can help anyone turn their pad into an amazing one.
