FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Photography is not free and great photography is not cheap. If you hire me, you get decades of experience shooting everything from scientific and technical images to grinning politicians. I have been published in publications worldwide. Corporate customers trust me to create images for them. Sometimes the work requires extensive background checks and signing non-disclosure agreements. I have an extensive selection of equipment and can work on location under most any circumstance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers are expected to engage in dialogue beyond Thumbtack messages. I need your contact information. We will discuss your project and create a plan to make that happen. Discussing expectations and having a shot list of images needed is vitally important. Sometimes a site visit before a shoot is required. Sometimes things need to be shot at a particular time of day. Showing up cold with no information doesn't generate stunning results that satisfy a client.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My past clients range from individuals, learning institutions, various media outlets and corporate entities. I'm hired because they know I'll get the image right the first time because we plan everything in advance.
