Jessica is extremely well rounded and knowledgeable, with exceptional attention to detail in form and technique. She brings an adaptability to her training that allows for modification as needed by each individual client. Jessica is professional yet approachable, personable and funny. Her yoga training is awesome and her Thai massage is fantastic. Give it a shot if you haven't tried it. I highly recommend it!
Tara has been my yoga instructor for nearly 12 years. I take group classes 1-2 days a week, she is incredibly patient & aware of individual needs. I have enjoyed her classes & the health benefits that they have given me. I would never use another yoga instructor, she is awesome.
Masha came into my Kindergarten Prep class at Bright Horizons. She worked with my class as a whole group to participate in partner and whole group yoga! She uses inviting techniques to engage the young kids and they loved it! She was positive, insightful, and patient!!!

My experience with Lymphatic Drainage and Healing Touch performed by Dr. Sylvia Hood Washington I believe had a positive effect on reducing inflammation in my body. The few days after therapy I noticed less aches and pain in my muscles & joints. I hold a lot of stress related tension in my muscles, so it was great to have some relief. During the therapy Dr. Sylvia kept me informed with what she was doing and why she was doing it. I liked how she integrated different modalities along with the lymphatic draining. She incorporated some yoga stretching and breathing as well as healing touch techniques. On top of relieving some of my inflammatory muscle and joint pain, Dr.Sylvia found an inflamed lymph node under my arm. It was likely inflamed because I was feeling on the verge of a virus. She was able to drain the lymph node and we could no longer feel an inflamed lump under my arm. I believe this procedure helped me to beat the virus that never transpired. In addition to being a Certified Lymphatic Therapist, Dr. Sylvia has vast knowledge and expertise in the medical field as an Environmental Epidemiologist and Public Health Professional. She has the ability to treat a person holistically while helping them discover how their environment may be affecting their health issues. I have studied Iyengar yoga with Amy Massat for well over a year, with great, steady progress. I am 76 years old and in good overall condition, but with rotator cuff issues in one shoulder. Amy has made a special effort to work that shoulder, in addition to addressing my overall alignment and ranges of motion. She has a good eye for analyzing a student's performance, and she articulates even the finest adjustments to one's positions very clearly. She brings great professionalism to her teaching, with her ability to demonstrate all motions and positions perfectly and her well planned lessons. I look forward to each session! Bill Gifford

I have been a yoga instructor for two years now. I also have experience as a personal trainer. However, I found that yoga really helps rehabilitate injuries, anxiety and mental disorders and is easier on the body. I like to look at the alternative aspect of yoga as well as how it keeps the body looking so young. Being a yoga instructor is a beautiful gift, and I would love to show anyone my knowledge and experience to help them better themselves.
