Jeanie Murray: Well, seven years ago Tom McMurchie worked with me and my 1-year old Labradoodle, Rush, in Phoenix AZ. I don't have adequate words to explain how wonderful the experience was. Tom was knowledgeable, professional, patient, humane, and just darn perfect. He trained me as well to make Rush an awesome, well-mannered family member. Then, Tom moved to Chicago. Rush is 8 years old (still perfect), but Tom has always been available for me to talk to him on the phone with dog-training advice. Then we brought a second Labradoodle into our home at 8 weeks old, Reagan. Do I ever wish Tom was still here to work with me and Reagan, who is a work in progress (almost 3 years old now). Actually, Tom did advise from afar when I had questions about Reagan. If you are looking for that perfect person to work with you and your dog, don't look any further than Tom McMurchie. Thanks, Tom!
As a first time dog owner I have learned that the process to a well behaved dog is the training of both the dog AND the owners. Our rescue one year old Birder Collie/Australian Shepard mix was pretty well behaved indoors and in our yard but had a very aggressive issue when meeting new digs and people. He could not be trusted to not bite either. After one session with Lynn and homework he was 100% better. After the second session I have little fear of having a problem. Buddy still needs some work however the change has been dramatic. Lynn comes to your home with written plans and homework assignments. Hire Lynn, you will not be disappointed. Jeff Wadsworth
Nicole at Great Pet Vacations was a Godsend to our family. Our 14 month old yorkie poo was disobedient and had awful manners. We did not have the skills to change the situation. In June, we did 9 days of board and train with Nicole and we all were amazed at the initial results. Cocoa immediately was more reliable with potty training, would not cry in her cage and did not attempt to escape her pen. In July, she went back for the additional 12 days of the board and train program and can now sit, lay, target, walk on a leash, leave an item alone and is a calmer more obedient dog. Nicole is a miracle worker and takes her time demonstrating how to continue working on reinforcing the behavior with the owners to ensure continued success at home. She spent more than an hour with us at the intake consultation in order to understand our training goals. In addition, she spent more than 2 hours upon exit. It is clear she loves the animals she cares for, treats boarded dogs as her own, and is a superb dog trainer. This experience was every thing I hoped for and more than I expected. We plan to continue training sessions with Nicole and give her our highest recommendation to others.
Leslie is training me and my dog obedience everything is very clear and easy to learn she is very knowledgeable on the subject and easy to get along with looking forward to continue working with her as my dog is doing great because of her training
I’m looking forward to working with Sev’s Smarty Paws. Tracy was helpful and professional from her first contact with me. Our consultation showed me she is exactly what we are looking for in a trainer for our dogs.
I have seen Michelle interact many times with her dogs and does an wonderful job with them. She is always patient and professional. Michelle is a Hospice Pet Volunteer, her dogs do amazing with our patients. Both Michelle and her dogs provide a fun and meaningful experience for our patients. Michelle is very easy to work with, she always wants to do the right thing for her pets and for our patients.
I currently have two jobs. One of them is working for a cleaning company for about 2 years. I would like to get some of my own cleaning clients. Also, I have three dogs among many other animals. So I would love to dog sit or dog walk for some extra money.
As an experienced dog walker, I can manage several dogs or pay attention to just one. I'm a pet lover, an owner, and a walker by profession!
Carol is amazing. Our dog wa so calm and happy when we got home from our two week vacation, and I know it was because she was being loved when we were gone. Carol also sent us adorable pictures every time she visited our dog, which made us feel more confident that Béarnaise was having a great time and we needn't worry about her. So much peace of mind!! Once a few months after our trip, we ran into Carol on a dog walk. My dog spotted her from across a busy road and started crying and whining and trying to get to her to say hello. When we finally got to her, she was so happy to see her friend she couldn't stop jumping on her and licking her. You're definitely in good hands with Prairie Path!!
I'll make sure your dog is properly taken care of like it was my own. I need at least a business day to respond.
I am an animal lover with a flexible schedule, and I would be happy to take care of pets. I own a black lab and have dog sat multiple times.
I became great with dogs as I grew up and I understand that they can be a handful sometimes. So that's why I started a dog walking business so it'll be less of work to do daily.
I love animals, and I have owned dogs my whole life. I would be happy to walk your dog in any kind of weather.
I am patient with others and am willing to work around and with certain things.
Jeanine took care of our golden retriever Cali for about a year. She would walk her and play with her each day for 30-45 mins. She was really great with her, extremely reliable, and we could tell she really cared about our dog. She left us notes each day to let us know how cali did that day. I would highly recommend Jeanine as a dog walker.
