We hired Jim to help us with our out of control 3 month old lab. After five sessions, our now 5 mo. old puppy sits with a hand command only, heels by our side on a leash and has the stay command down pat. Jim uses leadership training, without treats and without reprimand. His easy going and encouraging nature make you feel comfortable. He was always prompt and very flexible in scheduling sessions which we appreciated. Our puppy has a great start to growing into a good dog thanks to Jim and his methods.

Lets start off with I was very skeptical of hiring another trainer for my little girl.. My last experience was horrible but finding Jim was like finding a needle in a haystack!! From the moment I messaged him he responded back quick, was very happy and helpful and patient with all my questions and concerns and fears and did everything he could to put me at ease with the process.. I loved the fact that he came to the house to do a meet and greet so we could all get to know each other. And make sure the training would be a good fit for us all..Needless to say he was a instant hit, my husband even liked him!!!! With Jim you can tell he does what he does because he truly loves animals, not only is he great with the animals and has the patience of a saint, he is great with the owners, making sure they are 100% comfortable with training for the day before he leaves so you can continue to understand what you are doing and feel confident, ( think training us is harder lol). Anyways if you are skeptical on hiring Jim don't be!! trust me we are very picky and he still amazes us with how honest, truthful, and passionate he really is and he really loves what he does you could not ask for a better person then him!!!

Pack Leader Jim is wonderful with animals and gets the best out of them immediately. We had been told to just return our rescue dog, but thanks to Jim she will be staying here in her forever home. We happily watch her gain confidence, discipline and contentment as we work with her. Thank you, Jim! We would recommend you to anyone, anytime!

Jim was the best! In 5 weeks (really just after the first lesson!) I had the confidence and tools to maintain my dog’s training. It made the world of difference walking my dog, Barney, each day when he would walk by my side and sit on command versus pulling the leashing and leading me. Barney loves our walks together, and I do too! He sits, stays and comes on command! I can't thank Jim enough for his patience and positive energy. Our first step is to come out and do an in-home assessment so we can see how the dog behaves in their home environment. After the assessment we will talk about your training goals and make recommendations based on what we see vs. your goals.
