I had not needed to conduct a job search since 1978. Suddenly, without warning, I found myself laid off at 57 years old. I always maintained a current resume, but it was a hodgepodge of changes from over the years and formatted chronologically, definitely not appropriate to the times and my needs. Before I had a chance to fix the resume, I became aware of a large job fair on the following Monday. My problem was that it was Friday. Not being confident of my skills, I stumbled around looking for a local resume writer who might be willing to fix my resume by Sunday. Well, the Gods were with me. I found Laura Miranda. She, as advertised, delivered a fast and affordable resume. What Laura's ad doesn't mention is that she communicates with her clients very effectively to insure that she has all relevant information for the resume. And in the end, she delivers an exceptional product at an insanely fair price. Thank God for wonderful people like Laura Miranda!

Without a doubt the best move you can make when in the middle of a job search. You cannot afford to not get your resume done by a pro.
After weeks of useing my self made resume and getting only one luke warm response, I went to Affordable and fast Resumes to have my resume looked at. In a matter of days my resume was restructured and ready to go. I then sent it out to a handful of companies on a Thursday afternoon and the following week had two promising interviews. The first of which I landed the job and started work the very next week.
In the job market of today just having the qualifications for a job is mno longer enough. You have to be noticed out o piles of thousands of resumes for every position posted. Many of which are not even qualified so it's easy for yours to be passed over in any initial weeding out by the company.

Are you kidding me? I am a manager at a very large, multi billion dollar corporation, have 2 master degrees, and my dad sent me the resume she created for him. I was stunned! A one pager she copied and pasted key words from somewhere that did not even represent my dad's experience. I have seen 100's of resumes, and she just stole $75 from my dad and plopped something out of somewhere and placed it on a piece of paper.
