Introduction: I try to develop a special rapport with any client, I get to know them and their style and personality. It gives me a better sense of what type of custom order for any item from baby blankets to wedding gowns , decor, party planning along with hair and make-up design that fits a clients needs. I make sure everything is as perfect as I would want it and expect someone to do for me. Working with people in an environment that is for a special and joyous occasion gives me such a wonderful feeling. I enjoy making people feel calm and that they have something special to look forward to when any of the custom made services are complete and delivered.

During special times in your life, you need a person who is equally as special to trust during those times. Jackie made two blankets for my first born child. She made sure to incorporate interests of ours but still make the blanket age appropriate. These blankets have become so special to my son. I would not hesitate to have Jackie create another special blanket in the even that we are blessed with another special event in our lives.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is not very complicated. I charge by how long it takes me to design, construct, and adorn the blanket. Also what type of fabric is chosen for the blanket as well as if it is requested to have the name stitched on. Usually anywhere between $35.00-$50.00. If a special fabric is chosen, price increase may happen.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been sewing since I was 7 years old. My grandmother taught me. She made everything: her clothes, blankets, quilts. Just about anything that required a sewing machine. Sewing and crafting has been a hobby of mine ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I tend to do are blankets for Baby Showers, and just baby blankets for any reason. Also, a large part of my clientele are Brides. I enjoy custom made services and orders; making gowns, veils and graders as well as alterations. Bridal hair and make-up are a regular for me as well.
