My daughter started piano lessons with Stacey just a month ago but she is so excited every week to go. We have been very happy with how Stacey has progressed her - continually adding more difficult pieces to work on to see what she can do. This is our first experience w music lessons of any type and we are really happy with Stacey De & Co! Even my son, who never wants to try anything new, has started asking about taking drum lessons there. We couldn't be happier :)

Britt taught violin to our 4 year old for 2 months until we moved out of state. She was patient and caring and I could see my daughter's progress from week to week. Also, she did lessons in our home which was extremely convenient and she had some flexibility with her schedule. Easy to work with.

I have been taking piano lessons for 5 years, voice lessons for 9 months and flute lessons for 6 months at Music Makers...For Life, Inc. As an adult with prior music experience, I had certain ideas on how I wanted my lessons, and Theresa was very willing to accomodate my wishes. She always tried to work within my schedule as well. Theresa was always kind and patient with me and always made me feel good about my music and myself! I'm also impressed with how her school is structured for kids. They earn "music money" if they've practiced their lesson or land on the right square on the board game the teachers use to reinforce their teaching. Then they can spend their "music money" in her "music store" on small toys, or t-shirts, tote bags, etc. This really motivates the kids to want to practice! Older kids might be invited to join one of her rock bands, which perform around the county. Playing in a rock band helps to keep the teens enthusiastically engaged in their music! Music Makers...For Life is truly "The Fun Way to Learn to Play"!

My son has taken violin lessons with Clete for the last 6 or 7 years and we couldn't be happier to work with such an outstanding teacher. Clete has a vast knowledge of violin technique, great teaching style and a demeanor that lets his students know he means business but is still enjoyable to work with. My son has learned so much from him and continues to grow into a fine musician under Clete's tutelage. I highly rebmend him to anyone looking for a violin teacher.

My daughter has been taking violin lessons from Mrs. Jones for the last 3 years, she just started piano a few months ago. We love Mrs. Jones. She makes her lessons interesting, helps my daughter understand and perform well. Mrs. Jones has taught my daughter her music as well as self confidence. Mrs. Jones has her student perform at her church every year and you can tell right away how her students grow to become really accomplished musicians.

I was looking for a short term cello teacher for my 11 year old daughter while her regular teacher was on summer break. City Strings and Piano responded right away and sent a teacher to my home working with the days/hours I preferred. Victor, the cello teacher, was fantastic! He only had four lessons to work with my daughter on her seating audition pieces. She arrived at the audition feeling confident and well prepared! Victor was punctual and extremely helpful in describing the mood of the pieces..explaining dynamics and bowing techniques to improve her playing. He was very patient and friendly...using a bit of humor to engage my daughter and make her feel at ease. I would highly recommend Victor and City Strings & Piano! Loved the convenience of a professional, highly qualified teacher coming to my home!

Bellas Artes has almost become our home away from home. All three of our children take lessons there (violin, guitar, voice and musicgarten) and we truly could not be more pleased in the quality of instruction their receive every week! When our oldest daughter came to us and asked if she could please take violin lessons four years ago, we were not only surprised but also delighted but then the search began for a music studio. Where should we go? We were clueless but instantly felt like Bellas Artes was the place for us, after talking to Justin. Miss Constance, Mr. Brown, Miss Suzanna and Miss Destiney have been wonderful instructors for our children and we have so enjoyed watching them learn and grow and become excited about music and performing. We couldn't be happier!

Ms. Nissa is a wonderful teacher. Our daughter, Madelyn, has been taking lessons from Ms. Nissa for the past 4 months. Ms. Nissa is always professional, arrives on time, responds promptly to texts, and has been very flexible scheduling around our busy summer schedule. Ms. Nissa communicates with Madelyn with clarity and makes learning the violin fun! In fact, Madelyn was always sad when her 30 minute lesson was over, so we increased the lesson time to 45 minutes. I highly recommend Ms. Nissa!

The staff at Rockstar are easy to work with and friendly. I am an adult who takes guitar lessons. My son takes drum lessons and my daughter takes guitar lessons. Rockstar's instructors work well with kids and adults. The facility is clean and constantly updated. There is a clean bathroom and a comfortable waiting area. Their instructors are also working musicians so their lessons are applicable to real life experience.

    About

I am a Chicago based violin instructor and performer. Playing the violin has had an incredible impact on my life, and I'm dedicated to sharing my love for music with my students. I have seen firsthand the social and academic growth of my young students as a result of playing the violin, and I am a firm believer that access to music can benefit a person's life in a way that nothing else can.

    About

I am a current member of the DuPage Symphony and have 20 years of playing experience. I was initially educated in the Suzuki method at both Western Springs School of Talent and Community School of the Arts in Wheaton, followed by pre-conservatory study with Drew Lecher and Nan Zhou. I use a combo of Suzuki and traditional methods, customizing to the student's individual needs and heeding Dr. Suzuki's philosophy at all times. I am also a trained baroque recorder player who has studied privately and taken guest lessons and clinics with nationally-known recorder experts as Vicki Boeckman, Lisette Kielson, Rotem Gilbert and Leighann Daihl. I take violin students ages four and up and recorder students ages eight and up, either through Alleluia Lutheran Church in Naperville or privately within the student's home depending on distance.
