Our family had a wonderful experience working with Stephney Martin Photography. Stephney was extremely easy to work with. She really nailed taking family portraits at our son's graduation party/dad's 80th birthday party. It's rare for so many of our family members to be all together, so this party was pretty special. Stephney gave us lasting memories of our family time!

Stephney did our engagement photos and they were breathtaking!! She made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire shoot which is incredibly important. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will initially send a questionnaire and a contract for the couple to review. Soon afterwards I will set up a meeting over the phone or in person to get to know the bride and groom better and to answer any questions they may have. Two months before the big day I will contact the bride and go over the full day schedule. A week before the wedding I will confirm everything and times to be the most accurate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have invested in a lot of money and time taking courses by well known photography educators, Amy and Jordan!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My journey with photography began in high school with a film development class where I learned specific techniques to create and develop black and white film photographs. It was then when my photography interest sparked greatly. From that, I started to capture moments digitally including family gatherings, friends, and vacationing, which have helped enhance my skills. During my last couple years of undergrad at North Park University, I took pictures for the yearbook. This consisted of sporting and campus events, concerts, and portraits. More recently, my photography has consisted of family portraits, jewelry for a website, and events.
