RMS was my first time hiring a moving company, and let me tell you that William, William, and Keywan were absolutely fantastic. In the time we took trying to pre-load and pre-move for them, they had half the things already moved! They were efficient, and their knowledge and care for even flimsy IKEA furniture was fantastic. I'm no longer afraid of moving, because I know I can count on RMS to get it done quickly and efficiently. For context, I had a small local move, 1.5 miles away, from a second floor, 2 bed/1 bath apartment to a second floor 2 bed/2.5 bath duplex. All with crazy corners and tiny halls. It all took about 3 hours, with two pieces of furniture having to be disassembled. To have the most efficient and quickest moves: have everything packed, ready to go and disassembled, and they can get you out and in in 2 hours!
5 stars all the way around. Very friendly staff. I called them for help with moving a very heavy mattress and even heavier adjustable bed frame. Very expensive items,they showed up when they said they would and delivered it with no issues. I would definitely recommend them and use their service again.

Melvin and his team were wonderful and fast! They got me moved out of my old place and into the new place in two hours... start to finish! They were all very nice and polite. They disassembled and reassembled my bedroom furniture with no problems and even showed me how to do it for future reference. If you are looking for a reasonable priced, no hidden cost, local moving company that will come in and get you moved with no problem I would recommend Melvin and Safehands Movers and Delivery System. Ollie and his helper Michael were so friendly, careful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend hiring them for any of your moving needs. I will be saving their contact information if I need help moving again in the future. They moved two very strong pieces up three flights of stairs.
Alliance was on time and relentless with their work ethic. I mean, there were four guys moving as a one unit at all times. In all honesty, I believe the move should have taken 7-8 hours, as they initially suggested. However, they did it in 5.5. And they actually cared about the property the moved it out of, the property they moved it into, and the furniture itself. Best moving experience yet.

From the time the pick up was scheduled, Jason kept in touch. Kept me updated when he will come pick up the table. Moving was very professional and they took care that none of my walls were scratched in the move. He also refelted the table making it look like new. Highly recommended
The purpose of this review is to inform you that you should without a doubt trust Chicagoland Moving and Storage for your move. Want the details? Read on fellow buyer: Like a prudent buyer, I researched all the moving companies I could find- Yelp, Angie's List, Home Depot, Thumbtack, you name the impartial review site, and I read it. Chicagoland's price was a little high of the middle of the majority of companies that I saw. I called and was greeted immediately by the owner, Mr. Erez Ron, who did what they all do. He asked for the inventory to be moved, and made a similar prediction in terms of manpower and time estimate as the other companies I spoke to. But then he asked, "How can I secure your business?" Basically the entire time I dealt with this company, every member was realistic and went out of their way to work as hard as they could to ensure this move went over without a hitch. He made a me an excellent deal, and we waited for the scheduled move day. Erez's team, led by Eric and accompanied by Reuben, Tio, and Vincente, arrived punctually as specified, and we reviewed the work- and immediately the expertise of the team stated that this would take longer than they'd quoted. This was expected, and ought to be factored into every move. The team got right to it though. Enter the elements: we got record rain in Cook County that day, and you know what? The team didn't bat an eyelash, and given a break here and there when it was raining buckets, they charged in and out of the rain to load and unload the truck. It DID take longer that we'd expected, but considering how hard it was, I've never seen any moving company work harder, faster, or more efficiently. They were polite, exact, and made sure that what needed to be done was done in the best manner to avoid damage and issues with neighbors etc. I couldn't have been happier with the result! I'd heard horror stories of some companies rescheduling or quitting because the job was too big, or traffic was abominable, or because the weather was too harsh. Friends of mine had incidents with other companies that dawdled on the job, or broke things, damaged the floors/walls of the house, or some objects just disappeared. I've also heard the shock from family members who had entire rooms of furniture moved that never had to simply because communication was poor with the movers. You will NOT have any of these issues with Chicagoland Movers. My research couldn't have been more accurate about it. My overall experience with the genuine, hardworking, and diligent nature of the people I met with Chicagoland Moving and Storage ensured that the move went as smoothly as it rationally ever could have transpired.
They were great. We had a hicup in moving on a weekend and had to reschedule and Joe was completely accommodating. On the day of moving Joe and another mover were on time and even helped pick up the u-haul. We had about 15 medium and heavy duty boxes along with some basic furniture and they helped load everything in 45 mins and was done very carefully. I would definitely recommend these guys for accommodating us even 1 day before we moved and being super easy to work with.
Movers were professional, came prepared with appropriate moving equipment, and moved our upright efficiently and safely without damage to piano or surroundings. The price was a little higher than we expected for such a quick/short move from front hallway to garage. However, we would recommend this company to anyone who desires experienced professionals.
Excellent, fast work. Contacted Tom on a Monday he's was able to complete our piano move on Tuesday (local move). We will be using him to tune after the month he suggested so the piano has time to acclimate to environment in our house.
They handled all of or pre-packed boxes and all our furniture with care. We have some exspensive pieces and had a negative experience with a previous move/moving company, so it was refreshing to have a good experience. There was great communication throughout, and did an excellent job fitting everything into our storage unit. The only problem, was we planned to pay by credit card. We were told by the office that was fine a few days in advance, and that there would be a 3% charge, which we were ok with. The head mover told us this was fine when he arrived, then proceeded to have us fill out the paperwork. At the end of the move he then came to us and said he couldn't get ahold of the office and we'd have to pay by cash. He said if we didn't pay by cash we'd have to wait endlessly to hear back from the office. We didn't believe what he was saying, but obliged because we were on a time constraint. We felt a little scammed and are now unsure if we will use them again when we complete the second part of our move this summer. We'd probably require written communication from them, that we will exclusively pay by card and there will not be any other options the day of.
As stressful as moving into a new state is, the movers and the communication I received from the employees were truly great and eased a lot of my stress. They were quick, clean and efficient in moving my items and no damage was caused overall. Overall I had a great experience with ASAP Movers and would definitely suggest them to friends and family for their quality and fast service.
I definitely recommend Jacob and his crew for moving. They have a great attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a smooth transition from point A to B. I plan on using them again for additional services (rehab/organization/property clean up).

I hired two Bellhops for two hours to help me move out of my storage unit onto the moving truck. Having the extra hands helped to alleviate any stress of moving and they did all the heavy lifting. The entire process was expedited because of their assistance.
