About this pro
My past experiences in construction and design-related sales and merchandising has given me experience in meeting the needs of Home Owners, Realtors, Builders, Buyers and Sellers in both residential and commercial environments. Also, my training in appraisal and property management inform my staging selections and help ensure that my client's ROI remains top-of-mind. The excitement and satisfaction of SOLD! It's gratifying when an Owner, Realtor, Builder, or Investor feel that your staging has helped contribute to a positive outcome! Also, it's great when a redesign client feels that there is decorating help that does not necessarily require extensive new purchases.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Absolutely. I participate in workshops at the annual conference of the Real Estate Staging Association (national trade group). I also attend as many continuing education seminars and classes locally as well as on-line as possible. It is critical to the success of home staging that the professional remain current and apprised of new design trends as well as market conditions. In addition to my foundational training, I have added the following specialties: VPS Vacant Property Specialist with SAR CCC Certified Color Consultant via CSP (Canadian Staging Professionals) Completed Real Estate Photography Course with SAR Gained RESA-PRO designation (Real Estate Staging Association)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have experience and/or training in design, sales, construction, and real estate appraisal . Home staging is a perfect fit for me; it combines the creative work of design with the practical goal of marketing a property.
